A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

hi @Faith-and-Hope glad your photography shoot went so well. hi @Zoe7 free tools are always nice, hope you're set to have a relaxing sunday. I went for a 12km hike yesterday and got to this beautiful waterfall, not much water as there's been so little rain. I had the usual black thoughts & out of control ruminations I get hiking but am really glad I did the exercise for my body. not sure why it's sideways!

hi @Shaz51 hope you're resting you ankle & are ok today

hi @Adge hope you get some good rest today (I had surgery last year & the recovery time sent me just about crazy, I did not like being cooped up or having wounds I could see. it was only key-hole surgery so pretty minor).

hi @Snowie hope you are ok today

Re: Far and Away

I am so glad you went for the hike yesterday @BryanaCamp I'll have to come back later for the image - looking forward to seeing where you went Hon.

@Shaz51 Toby is spread out next to me as usual this morning - I have been watching tv - something I recorded last night so neither of us have moved from the couch much this morning.

@Faith-and-Hope Missed catching up with you last night so hope you got some work done and I suspect you are heading to church this morning. I have another quiet day planned. My sister's partner is going to bring the tools around sometime today but I don't need to go anywhere so will be home whenever he comes. I really need to vacuum today - has been a couple of weeks since I last did it and Toby and Cat hair is everywhere. I do always feel better when the vacuuming is done and need that little pick-me-up today methinks. Hope you are okay Hon and your evening was relaxing

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Faith-and-Hope @Zoe7 @BryanaCamp @Shaz51 @Snowie

Yes the end of daylight saving is always a pleasant time of year. Coincides with cooler autumn type weather. And yes, a welcome opportunity to have an extra hour's sleep. Unfortunately I didnt get that, just not sleeping I guess. But the cooler nights do help a little. Just got too active a mind lately I suppose. Will probably go back for a sleep later.

Enjoy mixing with your church community @Faith-and-Hope . Hope you have a nice restful day on the couch with your furry companions @Zoe7

Re: Far and Away

It sounds like you really need a sleep later @Former-Member Having so much going on will have your mind in overdrive and that certainly is not something that helps with sleep.

Got a little housework and school work to do as well today - and I better change my clocks soon too then will probably see what footy games are on this afternoon.

Re: Far and Away

Good morning @BryanaCamp That's a lovely picture, thanks.

Yes, you've explained it well - feeling cooped up, & disfigured by a large scar (& wound).

They refused to do keyhole surgery any of the 4 times - so I've had a long scar all the way up my middle, each time.

As a plus, the surgeon removed the bulbous keloid scar (from previous 3 surgeries) this time, & removed the 5cm wide scar (split) at the base.

So I have the neatest-looking scar, that I've ever had - plus a flat tummy, for the first time in 4 years!

Hey @Adge Quiet day for me here - usual housework and school work to finish. One week left before the holidays so looking forward to that.

Re: Far and Away

gosh that does sound like major surgery, well at least a flat tummy is one upside @Adge ! You're doing well.

hi @Former-Member I really sympathise with having an overactive mind. I went on a 12km hike yesterday and at least 10km of it was taken up with pretty ferocious ruminating, a lot of thoughts & even talking out loud to myself (best done alone in the bush where no-one can hear you!) This morning my mind has turned from neutral to dark thoughts to angry thoughts, it's not fun. I'd love to just have a calm mind & enjoy my day.

take care today friends
