A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

@utopia

That sounds wonderful. Took Toby to the beach and did part of the beautiful walking track that winds around the hills above the beach. We didn't go too far but sat and watched the world go by and the waves on the rocks for a while - magic! Enjoy the meditation - nowhere better than in nature quietly contemplating life (or doing nothing at all).

Yeah much better day today. Think may have got sick from the leaver's dinner - a few kids have also been sick - makes you wonder! Probably a combination of that, a very long long day (which I am not supposed to do) and letting out all the stress! GP doesn't want me to do more than an hour or two of THINGS at a time -can't cope physically. Need to build up some strength but only a little at a time - no rush - will just take time.

How are you doing? Haven't been keeping up with everyone so hope you are ok

Re: Far and Away

Your walking track sounds beautiful @Zoe7. Sounds like a perfect place to sit and enjoy the magic.
Nature can soothe the soul.

Re: Far and Away

It is beautiful @utopia.

Trying to get there at least twice a week because it is so peaceful and seems to have become my HAPPY PLACE. Toby runs up and down the beach and I can just sit and watch.Have even talked to a few people - not for long - quick conversations then I move on so I don't get too anxious. Try to do the track when there aren't many people around - early afternoon seems to be the quietest. Want to buy a tent and set up camp there - but would soon miss the comfort and safety of my home!

Re: Far and Away

@TAB

I have a 'go bag' which has all the things in it that a day out with the dog could possibly need. Leave it by the front door (fully stocked) so can grab and go when needed. Might need to add some things for me also. Really sorry that you have had a bad year - plus side - it's nearly over!!! How has the drive been - haven't kept up with all the news - just read little snipets! Really far behind on posts - no chance of catching up so sorry if I've missed something!

Re: Far and Away

Same re snippets. Trips good.😀 just all the mental to ing and from ing beforehand.. sounds like doomsday preppers re 'go bag' lol but some cheese olives and bickies in there as well maybe and a drink of some description 😀

Re: Far and Away

Does sound a bit like doomsay prepping LOL. Easy to grab and go when needed to - too hard to make sure I have everything for Toby as well as me when I leave sometimes so just easier to know it's always ready. Can't do cheese and olives but maybe some bikkies and tinned tuna - then I can share with Toby! Bag always has water in it so sorted there. Hope your christmas goes well
