Oh Hon that does suck big time but you can only hope that the values you have instilled in your baby dragons throughout their lives so far will win out. It must make it a very testing time for you though and yet another indication that Mr. is only thinking of himself and his needs - so hard for you to deal with

I hate hearing that it has brought tears on for you - breaks my heart to hear you going through so much pain @Faith-and-Hope I know you will keep on swimming but the water must seem like wild waves that you are trying to swim against. That makes it extremely hard to keep going but I know you will do what you can to push through ...and we are here with you holding you up as best we can

I hope you managed some sleep last night and Mr. did not wake you again - yet another example of him only thinking of himself - grrr! I know how hard it is to focus and get things done when you are short on sleep but hoping you can ctch up on both work and sleep a bit today if you need it.

I don't have much down time tody at work but will check in on you later when I can. I am supposed to be getting my new computer from work today so when that happens I'll be able to set up a SANE link on it o may be able to check in with you when that happens - otherwise it will be after work when I can do that. Will definitely be thinking of you across the day though and hoping things settle a little for you

While we don’t have a diagnosis for his illness and he feels unsupported in it, (thinking it’s an ideal state that I am jealous of) he will continue to undo the fabric of our life as we have known it, stamping his own ideas all over it without realising he is undoing his relationship with the kids in the process. He thinks he is moving them closer to him this way, and further away from me. It just conflicts all of us.

He also can’t see that he is progressively installing his mother’s values and choices into our home and life ..... ones that we had either rejected, moderated, or restrained in the past. Not only is he holding the floodgates open, these values and ideas have now become his own, without him being aware of the change.

I am feeling much better today @Snowie @Zoe7 @Former-Member @Sans911 @Shaz51 . I found a lovely backyard garden on a coffee shop near my counsellor’s rooms, and sat there doing some visual diary work for a while. So lovely ....

Sounds like the backyard garden was lovely and a bonus that you got some of your visual diary done

It was fortunate that I had it with me @Snowie , because otherwise I would have had to head home to keep working on it. This way was better 😊
