Thanks @Faith-and-Hope, how's your adventure going? Is there a particular thread your putting updates? A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Zoe7 , thanks .... 💚

I am glad you managed some decent sleep again last night. I did too, after a late-but-productive night and one waking. If mr. is coming and going to the bathroom during the night, I haven’t noticed. Not sure whether he is using the other “broom-closet bathroom” or whether I have started to sleep through that particular noise. Still rocking a sleep debt I think though, so it will be good if I can do something about that. At the moment it’s a trade-off to getting uni work in better shape.

Hi @Former-Member , if you’re up

and about. I hope you’re feeling somewhat better this morning, and your mr. is in a better place within himself too, just as importantly. Please give Holly a little cuddle from me. I am so glad you have her there too.

Hi to anyone else floating around this morning. It’s nice and cool here today, which I don’t mind one bit.

Re: Far and Away

So pleased you are sleeping through the night @Faith-and-Hope - maybe you are just so tired that you aren't noticing Mr. getting up. It is good that you are getting your uni work done but don't burn the candle at both ends to do it all - that lack of sleep will catch up with you. I know you will look after yourself though and do what you need to do to get everything done and sleep as well.

I presume you are off to church soon - hope that is a nice morning for you. Have to get myself up and moving soon to do some grocery shopping - not much left in the fridge but will just get enough to get me through the next few days then do a bigger shop on Wednesday when I get paid.

Good in the fridge sounds like a good idea @Zoe7 😏

Yeah, I am conscious of keeping a balance on the work / sleep seesaw .... there is rest and relief in getting the work done too, which might be why I am sleeping more restfully perhaps.

Re: Far and Away

Morning @Faith-and-Hope @Zoe7 and thanks for the mentions this morning.

Yes @Faith-and-Hope I am up and about, have been since 7am. Feeling pretty seedy however, and serves me right I guess. Very little sleep overnight didnt help either. Sleep debt, yep I know all about that. Its cool here today too, and much cooler overnight than we have been getting lately. Love those cool nights and being able to snuggle into a light doona. Never been comfortable or felt safe with just a sheet at night. Not sure why that is.

So your little companions take it in turn to wake you @Zoe7 ... thats cute. You have your Lions playing today, best of luck to them. Early start I notice, at 1.10pm ... dont miss it. Should be a good game I think.

Hubby has now been breakfasted, medicated and gone back in bed. I need to do the same I think, to allow some headache pills a chance to kick in. 😵

Re: Far and Away

It is usually Cat that wakes me but maybe she knows she is still in my bad books for her little disappearing adventure the other night - and maybe it is just that it is getting colder over night and she is snuggled into her bed for a bit longer @Former-Member Whatever the reason she gave me a few extra minutes this morning before Toby decided it was morning and everybody needed to be up lol

Yes my boys play early today - I am not too confident with it being in Melbourne - been quite a while since we won in Melbourne but if they play like last week then they are in with a chance. It is good that it is an early game so I can do some things after it. Been to Officeworks this morning to get a couple of things to help me get more organised so will get that sorted after the footy. Hope you get some more sleep today @Former-Member and feel a little better after you wake.

@Faith-and-Hope I understand that relief when you get things done - it does allow your mind to rest and that is just as important as letting your body rest. My rest days are important to allow for both as well.

I did a bigger shop this morning than I was going to do - actually went to 2 different supermarkets as the first one didn't have all I wanted to get. Then went to officeworks to pick up a couple of things - including a battery for my car key that had died - now can use the remote function again

You are probably at church now so I hope it is peaceful there for you there and you can come out rejuvenated and ready to tackle more of your uni work.

Re: Far and Away

Well done to @Zoe7 's Brisbane Lions! Really good away win for them.

Wish my NSW Blues were doing as well in the Sheffield Shield cricket state final against the Vics down in Melbourne.

Sadly the Blues, are almost done and dusted as of this afternoons tea break. Happy about your Lions though Zoe.

Re: Far and Away

It was a great win considering how long it is since we had beaten them or had a win at that stadium @Former-Member It gives me confidence that we can win a lot more this year too - think my expectations have increased after today

Haven't been keeping up with the cricket so didn't even know it was finals time - I am much more a footy fan than cricket though.

Re: Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope Coloured and cut my hair this afternoon after the footy. Been going to do it for a couple of weeks but haven't had the energy - so good to have it done

Got a bit of work to do this evening but won't need too much brain power - so should be able to do it while watching tv.

Getting cold here again this afternoon so might need to put the heater on tonight - at least snuggle under the doona on the couch again.

Hope you have done some more work this afternoon and are doing okay
