A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Thank you @Zoe7 . I only know how to try ..... things either work or they don’t, but not from lack of trying .....

The kids see it, it’s just too painful to openly acknowledge what they see, and yes ..... there is all the conflict of interest and values that makes it all so seriously sucky .....

Its not that they want to sweep it under the mat. They just don’t want anyone to talk about what is sitting squarely on the mat.

Re: Far and Away

It is all super sucky Hon - for all of you. There is of course going to be a lot of pushing back against what is right in front of your kids and that will manifest itself in different ways. Part of their own identity is wrapped up in what they are seeing also and that is no doubt affecting what they actually want to see. It is a very difficult time for you all but you really are doing everything you can to provide a little stability and a very positive role model for you kids @Faith-and-Hope I know how incredibly tough this path is for you but it is your strength and compassion that is holding everyone together despite such massive obstacles and I have no doubt all the sacrifices you make and will continue to make will benefit all your kids in the long run.

I better head off and get ready for bed - meds haven't kicked in tonight but sure once I lay down I will sleep pretty quickly. Have a great day tomorrow and remember always that I am here walking right alongside you. Love ya Hon

Hope you had some sleep @Faith-and-Hope I was up and down several times last night and feeling very tired today but hoping a shower will wake me up a bit. Better get ready now for work - have morning duty so can't be late today. Have a great day Hon

Hi @Zoe7

I went to bed early after another D3 meltdown ..... slept 6-7 hours I think ..... D3 actually tucked me in and turned out my light after I face-planted my iPad.

Uo early again (6am) and started straight into visual diary work. I have stopped for breakfast just now.

Re: Far and Away

Thanks for that @ Faith-and-Hope. Yes I did get a while ago - probably wont re-post as the whole idea was to share the name of the organisation which I found very helpful. Apparently we cant do that on these forums.
Hope all is well with you. Best, F

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Fee1

I think we can share general ones that are across all states, like Relationships Australia, but not small ones and specific addresses, to keep things anonymous and not identify where you live and where you go by name.

I hope that helps .....

I hope all is well with you too. We are bouncing along here .....

Re: Far and Away

I saw your message in a break today and it was nice as always to read @Faith-and-Hope

It was lovely of D3 to tuck you in last night. It has been a while since you face-planted so you must have been tired. Hope you got a lot of your visual diary work done this morning - you must be catching up by now.

Had a pretty reasonable day until this afternoon. Have a headache and the kids were quite noisey in the class I went to for the afternoon. The grade 6s are away on camp so I went to the 1/2s - I knew I could help there and it would be appreciated - there are a couple of 'lively' characters in that class and they are really wearing the teacher out so I figured any help she could get she would happily accept.

Have to give Toby a bath tonight - just waiting for pain killers to kick in and this headache to hopefully go away a bit before I do that. It is still warm enough for him to run around and get dry and I will put the heater on for him later when it cools off if needed.

Looking forward to the weekend. Tomorrow should be an easier day and I have to leave as soon as school finishes to get Toby to the vet again to get his ear checked. Hopefully the drops have worked and it is all cleared up. His ear looks a lot better but they will need to check inside to see if the inflammation and infection have gone.

Hope you have had a constructive day Hon and uni was good.

Hi @Fee1 Hoping you are doing okay as well
