It’s in a temporary gallery because they are rebuilding, and the current space is small. It was the sort of abstract artwork that has most people scratching their heads and saying that their 4 year old could have produced it ..... but that is not the case of course. The work is far more sophisticated than it might seem, and the underlying processes and ideas carefully evolved by a singular artist.

Well, I’m up early. I’m still finding myself short on sleep, but more for the fact that I am waking up early after staying up late. It’s a bit annoying, but I also understand that it’s a result of a busy mind, or else I could probably doze for a while. I don’t have to get up for another hour and a half.

This is a result of seeing the counsellor yesterday I think, and I think it’s nit so much what I talked about, but what I have been asked to think about for next week. There is a lot of sifting of memories. A lot to think about, not in a bad way, but in a busy way, and it’s distracting me from resting, and competing with brain space for my assignments.

I think I am going to get up and do some homework, so that this mind-busyness is directed towards something that I can achieve. If there is something that needs to press forwards in my thoughts, it will probably still do so, which might help identify what it is.
