A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Hadn't thought to start a new thread ....

Re: Far and Away

As @Faith-and-Hope has said @Sturgeon you aren't intruding at all here - it is always lovely to see new members and have their input.

Been to the GP and told her how I have been feeling. She thinks I am doing well regardless of how I am feeling. She knows me pretty well so it is good to hear from her. Just as I have been doing - I need to continue to rest when I can and see if taking my night meds earlier helps with the mornings. We talked about the difference between tiredness and motivation and what I was feeling the most. It is pretty much even in the mornings but once I get to work I am okay - some days I feel more tired than others but it really is the motivation in the morning that is my main concern ...I can fight through the tiredness more than I can the motivation.

No more tests or med changes and my BP is normal after going up a little when I had the headaches a few weeks ago. I didn't talk to her about my back and leg because it feels a lot better today - the bigger test will be tomorrow when I have to navigate the many stairs at work again.

Resting for the remainder of today with lots of Toby snuggles. Cat will no doubt be inside asking for her dinner soon lol Have to get some things sorted for tomorrow but will do that later - it won't take long but not in the headspace just yet to do it.

Hope you have had a break in between classes @Faith-and-Hope and at least had lunch after running to get there on time this morning. Catch up with you later Hon

Re: Far and Away

End of the day, and I am heading off home with D2 shortly @Zoe7 @Sturgeon , anyone else around ..... feeling tired and flat ..... it’s all a bit surreal after being on the other side of

the country in my “other life” yesterday ..... and missing my older kids already. Trying not to dwell

on it cos sad feelings are not far beyond my reserve, and I still have to get myself home yet. Haven’t thought about dinner either. The day is not finished, even though classes have.

I am glad that much is sorted for you @Zoe7 ., Hopefully sleep and feelings will settle from here.

How are you doing @Sturgeon . I see you found some company on Good Morning thread this afternoon.

Re: Far and Away

It is a pretty big thing for you being away from your older kids @Faith-and-Hope especially when you have just spent a few days of precious time with them - D1 in particular knowing she still is not well. I bet your kids there have missed you too but it would definitely feel like you are needed in 2 places and can only be in one at the moment. I really feel for you Hon - that is super tough ...and I know you leaving your friends and those social connections behind is hard too

Don't stress too much about dinner - maybe order in tonight and that is one less thing you have to worry about.

How were classes today - do anything interesting?

Re: Far and Away

We had lectures this morning @Zoe7 . Art history is always interesting. This afternoon was sculpture class, and I was painting sticks, of all things, to use in a sculpture project.

Re: Far and Away

Art history is interesting @Faith-and-Hope There is so much to learn in that we often only touch on with looking at the Masters or styles we like but not branching out into other mediums or with less well known artists. I would find those lectures really interesting.

As you know I love scultpure so I would be sitting right beside you in that class too - painting sticks of all things sounds different but I am sure you will use them in a unique way.

I have nearly finished what I need to do tonight so settling in now for the evening. Here for you if you need Hon 😘

Re: Far and Away

Thanks @Zoe7 🌷

Think my mr. is ringing this evening to talk to us about the trip he wants to plan. That’s not helping much, but the sooner we tackle it, the sooner it’s sorted so .... :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Have you made a decision on what you are going to do Hon - going or not going? @Faith-and-Hope

Re: Far and Away

Hi @Faith-and-Hope thanx for asking it seems you much the same as I knackered though for different reasons. For me in part tech learning and keeping up with such a phenomenal flow on & responses from forum community whilst I personally crashing.

Must be heartache to separate from family younguns, takes strength also, I wrap you in a gentle hug of nurturing snuggles 🐻🚺🐻 Rest well
