Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

@Shaz51 The snow was only in The Midlands (middle of Tassie) and some on the mountain in Hobart - melted pretty quickly - nice to see though!

Beach weather one day - snow the next! Seems like the outside has collided with my head - one day sunny the next cold and dark. @Former-Member it was very cold and didn't stick around for long - rained most of the day.

How you doin' tonight? How has your day been?

Re: Far and Away

It has been a bit cooler here on the coast this weekend but more so today. It only rained a little bit this afternoon @Zoe7

I think I am going to try to have a early night and try to relax with a movie or TV

How was your day?

Re: Far and Away

Snow in Tassie @Former-Member

I emailed my rellies in Hobart sending Christmas wishes and telling them I am planning to visit Hobart in late January or early Feb - and it snowing. SNOWING. - Oi!

I was thinking of going to Cradle Mountain - but no - perhaps not - I was there in 1993 and there was a record dump for the opening of the snow season - I didn't see Cradle Mountain - that was a pity - even on the last day when I got my hire-car out of the snow drove around to Dove Lake and couldn't see anything but the fogggggggggggggggg

That's a typo but I am leaving it there

Okay - a few years ago we had bushfires east of Melbourne still burning on Christmas Day but it snowed in the mountains and hailed out our Christmas Dinner -

And it's summer

In Melbourne there are times when we can only tell summer from winter by the lengths of the days -

Snow in summer at this latitude - I dunno what else to say

Dec mmmmmmnnnnnn

Re: Far and Away

@Former-Member That sounds like a good night - quiet and peaceful - just chillin', not thinkin'.

My day has been good. Bought one Christmas present, did some washing, cleaned up the dog's toys, ATE, didn't sleep half the day and have spent far too much time here!!!!! My poor little fingers are wearing down from the typing. I need to try and get to sleep earlier tonight as have blood tests first up in the morning, then psychologist, a small break - then GP. I really think the new meds are starting to kick in - definitely feel more awake and more positive today - maybe a little too much - hope it's the meds and I'm not heading for a big fall - doesn't feel like that though so fingers crossed!!!

Great to hear the positivity in your posts tonight - makes me smile!
