Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Thanks, and goodnight @Zoe7 .....

Mr. is arriving very late and is sleeping in the art space, which is where S2 has been parked up to sleep while mr. was away, and the visitors gone with him ..... one at one end of the unit, the other at the other ..... he said they would sort out sleeping arrangements tomorrow, so not sure where that is going, but something else I don’t need to worry about. They can sort themselves out and I will only buy in if I have to (if things start going really wonky and damaging). Something will settle into a new order, at least for now.

Re: Far and Away

Hey @Faith-and-Hope Yes S2 and Mr. can sort out their sleeping arrangements themselves Hon as long as the art space isn't taken over by them and it begins to affect you. You and Visual need that space for your course and that is important.

I have woken up with a headache still and not feeling very well also - will need to fight through it though to get through work today. Hoping the day goes pretty quickly and I begin to feel better as the day goes on. It is ging to be warm here today also so that is not going to help.

Hope you have a good day at uni - will check in with you when I get home

Re: Far and Away

Oh no @Zoe7 .... I am sorry to hear that the headache has persisted overnight.

I think I have mentioned it before, but there is a roll-on stick of essential oils - lavender and peppermint - that you can get from some pharmacies. Dabbing a little at your temples and behind your neck can help. It’s a non-medication thing that I use, and I hope you find it helpful.

Mr. still came into this space and woke everybody up with his a) access to the office space and bathroom in our room and b) clanking around in the kitchen preparing his meals for today ..,, but part of choosing to stay and live with this is acceptance ... accepting the “low level” drama that comes along with the territory because he is sick and can’t see that. It helps to put a different spin on it too - as in he could be a shift worker who has to get up through the night and prepare to go to work, or come home at this sort of hour to go to bed. While the illness is having its way with him unchecked, there is only so much we can try to control, so it’s a matter of picking our battles.

I slept an hour before he came in, and then six hours afterwards, so that’s pretty good really. Getting upset about it would only have resulted in less sleep for me.

I hope the staff at your school continue their caring support for you and accommodate the fact that you are not feeling well with your headache today 💚

Re: Far and Away

It is definitely ideal the way Mr. came in and disrupted everyone last night @Faith-and-Hope but your attitude towards dealing with it is fantastic. It certainly does help that you try not to let it bother you too much but a little more care from him would not go astray

I managed to get through the day. Headache persisted all day and feeling quite sick by the end of the day. I also didn't drink as much as I should have today so that hasn't helped. It was a really busy day though so it went quite quickly.. A couple of teachers asked if I was okay so it must have been written on my face - they were very kind when I said I had had the headache since yesterday. I have made an appointment on Wednesday with my gp so I will mention it to her then - certainly hope it is gone by then though.

I couldn't head to the chemist tonight - just wanted to come home - but will try to find the lavendar and peppermint stick tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday when I have more time.

I think I will be on and off here a bit tonight as I need to lay down but I will keep my eye out for you. Hope you have had a wonderful day at uni and everything at home is manageable. Hugs and hugs
