Hi everyone else, @dazedanais , @Faith-and-Hope , @Former-Member , @CheerBear . I'm relieved that my increase in meds is finally helping, my psychotic symptoms have lessened and I fell much calmer and energetic so have thankfull had a productive couple of days. I hope you've all had a good day

@Faith-and-Hope It is so great to have you back and to see your name pop up in notifications - I have missed that. I could check emails quickly today but didn't have time to post so just seeing your name there gave me that heartlift. So much to catch up on but all in good time. I suspect you are still very tired and I did read you had a fall while you were away and that Mr. F&H is being nasty. Fill me in on details when you are ready Hon

Definitely feel it @CheerBear Had you all with me today and it really did make a difference. I was so looking forward to coming home and telling you all how it went. I won't meet any of the kids until Thursday but I think this working 4 days might be really do-able - especially having the Wednesday off in the middle of the week.

I have just read your post on the Care's side @Faith-and-Hope and my heart aches for what you are going through. I felt that things were not okay for you but hoped I was wrong. It seems that the emotional abuse has ramped up to a different level and the options you have available to youo at present are few and far between. It is not okay that you are being treated this way - but I get that it is not just you that are suffering in this scenario - as always you are thinking of your baby dragons and how this is all affecting them. You are also right that you cannot, for your own mental health, let what Mr. is doing stop you from doing your course. Visual will need you there for moral support until she finds her own way and we both know that with her own MH issues encouragement and good role modelling is paramount. I am also concerned about you Mr's behaviour is affecting S2 and how much that is causing him to retreat within himself also. You have a lot on your hands to deal with and I really hope you can get some help to care for D2 so you can all attend uni and make it as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. Hi @Zoe7 ..... thank you (and other forum family members) for all your heartfelt empathy.

Although this new drama has all come about in a negative way, I am committed to turning lemons into lemonade as far as it is within my power to do so, and the changes I am making now in support of D2 are somewhat overdue. My elastic couldn’t stretch far enough last year to see to it, but now I have a catalyst that has made it urgent. What research I had done last year will now start to come into play, and I will get a team happening around her to see to her needs more appropriately.

I also have the NDIS support thread here on the forums that I haven’t prioritised, in part because I haven’t known where to start ..... but I do now. The decision has been made for me, and @Teej this will get me to pick up the Rising Strong with Brenè Brown again too .... so watch out for that one.

It will also be great for D2 to get additional support in place - meeting new people would be good for her also @Faith-and-Hope You certainly have been pushed into doing this all now but it could work out well for everyone and definitely give you some breathing room as well.

It is good that you now know where to start with the NDIS stuff - often the hardest part is the beginning so good to hear you have that covered now.

I have made contact with my local NDIS office. That is Step 1,and I am organising the carer I need regardless. We will just have to pay whatever costs are involved in the short term, as this wasn’t discussed and planned for properly, so if the cart goes before the horse now, so be it .... !! Not my doing ....

Yes, it’s time to bring D2’s needs to the fore, and this will achieve them, even if the cart is before the horse to start with .....it’s consistent with my circus at the moment anyway .... :face_with_rolling_eyes:😏

I am glad to hear you sounding so positive about your first day @Zoe7 , although I haven’t got over to ANC thread yet .....

You have enough to deal with at the moment Hon and even more that you have been dealing with while you have been away. Take your time to get around to the things beside your family and what you have to do there. They are so lucky to have you

And whilst I have missed you so much (think you have gotten that idea over the last couple of months lol) what is most important right now is You @Faith-and-Hope and your family and making sure that you are all as okay as you can be.
