@Faith-and-Hope Had a better nights sleep - woke up super early but not feeling as tired as I have been. Already watered the garden before our expected very high temp day. It is pretty much going to be an inside day with an expected 37 degrees here today. Plenty of fresh water out for Toby and Cat and all windows and blinds closed to keep the cool inside.

There are several things I want to get done in the garage this morning before the heat hits and will get to those after this post.

Pretty much just wanting to touch base with you - not much to convey this morning so will leave you with the usual I am missing you and can't wait to have you back with us. Hope you are ready to come home too and looking forward to reconnecting with us all here. Love and hugs

@Faith-and-Hope Meds are kicking in so calling past to say goodnight from this side of the world and hoping you have a good day on your side. Been a very long day with the heat and smoke but have stayed indoors to be out of it. Hoping now to get to sleep pretty quickly but will jump back on here if I can't. A bit annoyed about something actually @CheerBear but can't talk about it here. You seem to know when things are not quite right - that no longer surprises me though as you are pretty switched on

Going to try to get outside today but not sure how that will go - just feel like sleeping today Toby has the right idea methinks - snuggle into the doona and sleep!

Have had contact with friend this morning and his day yesterday was pretty much the same as mine - an inside out of the weather day. He is still doing his painting so is busy and I still need to do garage things - getting motivated to do that might take time today though.
