I have built some fine inner resilience against the odds but man does it drain energy!

I read this and thought omg the levels of endurance. I do hope he keeps on the other direction for your sake. Gosh you know I think the sad thing it can take years but they all seem to work it out in the end, I mean the new party. Because the beast always repeats a pattern.

I honestly think many women persist because we believe we can help.

Still battling with workcover @Faith-and-Hope and I am supposed to go back to work next week - haven't had a holiday or been able to go into work to get things sorted so not looking forward to next week 😢

It’s sad, but it does make us more powerful in the longer term. ex’s newby hasn’t behaved well, and has cost my baby dragons a lot of pain along with me, so it’s hard to feel sorry for her, but I do know there is suffering ahead.for her too.

Oh no @Zoe7 😔 I am presuming you will be able to communicate about it, and others will pitch in to help you ? It has been such a lovely school, and I’m sure they treasure you ❣️

@Faith-and-Hope You will teach your baby dragons 🐉 how to cope with this situation through your actions.

There is no excuse for disrespect, bad manners, poor behaviour and injustice.

The only thing I can control is ME. MY self talk and MY actions.

I control NOTHING else.

You will teach your babies they NOT defined by life experiences.

Always, always look inward.

What a gorgeous puppy. Amazing how animals bring us back to life. 🥰

I learnt something valuable yesterday which really gave me perspective of my own dilemma. I can honestly our own life experiences really do guide us. Yes, unfortunately I have dealt my fair share of ‘difficult’ people. My therapist laughed and said wow that is a nice way of putting it! I laughed too! Honestly at times, these ‘types’ have sent me to dark, defeated, beaten down places.

However, if I allow myself some air, I breathe, harness back lost energy and propel forward. Somehow. I know I can get there.
Presently, I’m holding onto the light card that presents itself as ‘true’ freedom.
I really do think it is on its way. 😊
