A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

One week to go @Faith-and-Hope @Eve7 @Snowie @Adge @TAB

A lot to get packed and moved this week but my kids are amazing and have already been helping with that. They have also helped pack small boxes into my car so I can store some stuff for next year. Getting them out and inside has been a slow process but I am doing it bit by bit with the trolley.

Big week ahead for you @Zoe7 especially with changing classrooms. Glad you have some little people to help. I'm sure they would do anything for you.

Gentle steps hon...

Re: Far and Away

They would @Snowie I have the most beautiful kids and I am really going to miss them next year. I have had nearly half for 2 years so it is going to be a big change ...but my new little ones will no doubt fill that space 😁

I am looking forward to the break though - I need the rest and to get my back right.

Hopefully the rest will help your back @Zoe7 You deserve to be pain free.

Are you doing anything for christmas?

Re: Far and Away

I have a fight ahead of me with the independent doctor @Snowie The report was full of mistakes and judgements based on no actual factual evidence. I am not going to let him get away with it. The report was also given to me directly and not through my GP as it is legally supposed to be so yet another mistake. Unfortunately my GP is now on leave until the new year but when she is back the process will start. I am still very angry but will place that anger where it is needed when the time comes - no point letting it get to me at present - have too much to do and want to have a lovely last week with my kids.

We are going to my sister's for Christmas. Her partner's parents will be there also. Last year they did not want him to go over to Melbourne for Christmas and he was really upset about that. They just did not want him to travel again as he had been over so many times to visit his sister. It will no doubt be hard for them all this year as they have lost both their daughters/sisters but we will make it as lovely as possible for them all.

Re: Far and Away

I hope it all works out for you in the end @Zoe7 I'm glad you are going to fight it.

I know how hard it is to try and go through work for things. Even just trying to get that time off to go to appointments is hard.

Christmas can be hard when we have lost loved ones. Always harder when it is the first christmas since they have gone. I hope the day goes well for you. I have everyone coming to my house for dinner. My turn this year.

Re: Far and Away

I like it when I have Christmas at my place @Snowie I enjoy getting everything prepared and doing things for the family. With my back this year though I am actually pleased it will be at my sister's. I will be able to rest when needed and just enjoy the day. I will also be able to leave when I need to and come home to rest rather than have to clean up.

Toby will of course come with me but not Clover. She is not good around people or other animals like she was as a kitten - too much time with just me and Tobes. I will spoil her when I get home though lol

I hope you guys have a wonderful day Hon - no doubt with you organising everything it will be ❤️

Re: Far and Away

I do like having xmas at my house @Zoe7 but do like when others have it too. Not as much to do and yes, you can leave when you want. When it is at your house there is no escape.

I'm sure both Tobes and Clover will be spolit. Have already brought Izzy a present and some treats!
