Far and Away

Golf is one sport I never liked @Shaz51 My Dad loved it and I went with him a couple of times but found it too slow and boring (probably because of all the walking lol).

I am okay my sister. Had pain relief meds so just waiting for them to take effect. I have some work to get done today so I need the extra help.

i am taking some meds for my hip , my leg is feeling numb

We are sisters in another way then @Shaz51 - both hip and leg issues 😢

The intense, shooting pain is significantly better @Shaz51 but the constant aching in my back, hip and entire leg has not eased. I am very much hoping the injection tomorrow will help with that. Taking pain meds long term is not good and I would love to be able to stop them very soon. They also affect my IBS so that has flared up significantly over the last 3 months also - I had that really well managed until this happened.

I hope you hip and leg feel better soon too - physical issues can affect our mental state so much too and that is certainly not what you need. Hugs and hugs and hugs 💚💚💚

Yes like skiing in winter and water skiing in summer too. Into jet skiing too.

Was into sports when I was younger. Always at some sort of sport growing up.

Hubby and I were thinking of getting our scuba diving license at christmas. Our present to each other! We have been twice before on the Great Barrier Reef and it was amazing.

@Zoe7 @Shaz51 sorry to hear you are both in pain. I hope is subsides for you a bit.

I have been at a national sporting event which has been a good distraction. Home tomorrow.

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Eve7 @Shaz51 I am home. It all went well apart from a mix up at the hospital this morning which delayed me going in. Still in quite a bit of discomfort but they said it will take up to 10 days to feel the full effects. The injection itself was quick, it was the laying around getting CT scans first that was the worst - but home now and resting with a very snuggly little fluffball by my side.
