@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Eve7 @Snowie Had my GP appointment and am not allowed back fulltime for the rest of this year. I know this is necessary but I miss my kids. I do get to mid morning and really feel it though so it is a struggle to get through the last hour or so. Going to have to work around the limited time to get some things done with the kids but I also need to take care of myself (the best I can) then get to the holidays and do whatever I need to do to feel better and be back next year.

Yeah I know @Snowie but it is hard - especially at this time of the year. As I am not going to have any back next year, it makes it just a little harder. I will need to work out how I can fit things in and make sure the kids get to do everything we have planned. I did book our excursion for the morning just in case - a good thing now I did.

That’s a tough call @Zoe7 but obviously it’s what’s right for you now. I’m sure your class will understand if you’re honest with them. ❤️💚❤️

No plans now @Snowie Can't do anything so all the things I wanted to do have to be put on the backburner.

@Eve7 They are a great bunch of kids so they will be okay.

Perhaps that down time is helpful @Zoe7 Maybe it is what you need.

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Eve7 Talked to my kids this morning to let them know I will be doing half days for the rest of the year. They were amazing (as I expected). One of my boys said "you have to take care of yourself" - he is in grade 2!!!! Others said "it is okay" and "we understand". I have the most compassionate and caring kids - that is why I wish it was different and I could spend more time with them. I cried on the way home today - both in pain and thinking about my beautiful kids - it was just a bit much for me.

Jost got back from the chemist because I could not get my meds until I got paid. Had to sit for 40 minutes so that is not good for me. They said 15 minutes and 2 people came after me and left before. I was pretty annoyed so when they were ready I took my prescriptions, said thank you and walked away. I had nothing else to give tonight 😢 I go to the same pharmacy at least once a week and the service has always been terrible but it is cheaper than anywhere else so I really do not have a choice unfortunately.

Enough whinging ...thank goodness for all of you here - needed to vent a bit and always know you guys are here ❤️
