Far and Away

Hi @Faith-and-Hope Spent the day in hospital having some exploratory procedures after some less than favourable recent test results. Thankfully the news is so far more positive than we all expected but still some issues I need to manage. That will mean more medication but hoping it will significantly help both this new diagnosis and those I already manage (not so well sometimes). I still have to wait for the final biopsy results but my specialist has said he took them more as a precaution and to tick off all boxes so I am not concerned.

Dad is having more better days than not at present so that is also more positive. He, too, has more tests upcoming (which he is resistant to) but he has to have them done.

The next couple of days for me will be resting and recovering. It didn't take me as long to come out of the anaesthetic this time but it has still knocked me around so I will definitely be spending a couple of days on the couch snuggled with the babies.

There is so much more that has been going on but that is for another time - need to rest and look after myself for now 👍💕

Sorry to hear you have been unwell and needed testing, etc. Pleased you will take a few days to lie on your couch and snuggle your fur babies. I think that's the best cure all.

It must have been a scary few days, apart from the drama and surgery, all of which is really taxing on the body and mind. Hugs n hugs ….. keeping swimming 🐠❣️
