Just with my mum, she is very good at playing the victim around me.

But made it through.

Tooth pain is very annoying hon. I am guessing it is hard to eat at all.

@Snowie No can't eat but have got an earlier appointment due to another cancellation so just another couple of hours until I hopefully get it sorted. At this stage I will opt for having it out if that is suggested because I cannot deal with the pain. It feels loose anyway so there might not be any other option.

I can imagine your Mum doing what she does best Hon - playing the victim. She should be grateful that she has a roof over her head and you do so much for her but we know her better than that hey 😔

Sometimes just taking the tooth out is better than dealing with the pain of it.

My mum is very good at it. Makes sure she doesn't say anything in front of the kids or Hubby.

Not kind and manipulative @Snowie She knows exactly what she is doing. I wish your family could hear as I have no doubt they would say something.

I am pretty sure my tooth is loose so it might be the only option to have it out - but at this point I do not care.

Thats fair @Zoe7 I would want the tooth out too if I was in the pain that you are in.

Yes she does know exactly what she is doing. Very good a turning on the water works too when she wants something.

I bet she does @Snowie Unfortunately there is often no way around those type of people and having her live with you makes that infinitely harder. So sorry she is like that Hon - you do not deserve any of it 😥

As expected @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @TAB @Former-Member tooth had to come out but I really don't care as it was causing so much pain. Hopefully that should now settle in a few days. It will take a while for the anaesthetic to wear off and I know there will still be pain once it does so the rest of this afternoon will be preventative pain relief and rest.

Hoping with the tooth out the pain can gradually go away hon @Zoe7

I hope the pain meds you have can stay on top of it.

At least it's out now @Zoe7 and you can concentrate on recovery. Can they put another tooth in your denture or does it not matter as it is at the back ?

Soon it will be happy eating again 😁.
