A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

.. good point @Snowie re air mattresses not being that good anyways .. esp when go flat ontop of that lol..

guess I could start with just plain mattress . not much appealing seen in way of beds so far. had cheapo but stylish metal and wood one last time .

Re: Far and Away

Got an appointment this afternoon @Snowie so hoping they can sort it because I cannot keep going with the pain.

@TAB A lot to do with your new house but no rush - just get the essentials for now and work on the rest as you go.

Re: Far and Away

.. it's going to be a journey hey @Zoe7 .. guess you know.

will start with creature comforts/essentials

I dumped all stuff had 12 mnths ago from other house as some came with house and wa unsuitable, also had no desire to drive things across nullabor or pay for storage, well Or knew where I would be in 12mths or what I would be doing .. prob fair guess in hindsight though, as father had already passed before I moved out of house

.. moving right alonng .. well at least did not have to pay 9 months storage, would have cancelled out value of goods, also extra few hundred in fuel for trailer etc etc

yes, I did the right thing in the end I guess lol ..

Re: Far and Away

Sometimes starting fresh is the way to go @TAB and considering you did not know what the future would hold then you most likely did the right thing. Storage can be so expensive too.

I hope they can help with the pain @Zoe7

Re: Far and Away

Thank goodness I have stronger pain killers @Snowie otherwise it would have been a trip to ED last night. Today it is not as bad - more uncomfortable - until the pain killers wear off though 😥

How are you today Hon? Yesterday would have been a big day for you.

Re: Far and Away

oh prob worse than I think @Zoe7 storage costs double what it did 10 years ago when I used to leave things in there forever.

had a shock other day getting new back up 9kg gas cylinder though.. thought I paid $65 a few years back ok maybe was $90 ish filled

miter 10 wanted $125, I flat out refused and questioned it.

went down road to coles shell servo and bought for $115 .. but still ...

Re: Far and Away

The pain must have been bad hon @Zoe7 if you almost went to the ED.

I am okish today. Yesterday was a big day. Glad it is over actually.

Re: Far and Away

The cost of everything has gone up so much @TAB and the government is not helping. I do not know how those on low incomes survive - it is ridiculous in a country like ours that so many have to live on so little yet politicians keep getting pay rises ..if only they lived in the real world!!!

I bet it was a draining day @Snowie but you got through it Hon 💙

Re: Far and Away

.. I just order most expensive 45kg gas cyllinder ever @Zoe7 $200 .. going to have to find a workaround,, 9kg refill only $30 think lol
