No, I said , as I would have fallen through them ..(re massive weight gain last 4 years) she was laughing snorting , choking ha ha lol

My neighbour is digging up the concrete in between our two houses today as they need to find a pipe. Toby is going out of his mind with the noise even though he knows who is outside. I offered to lend the jackhammer that I borrowed from my sister's partner yesterday but they seem to find pleasure in using the sledge hammer instead. The whole house is vibrating with every bang 😔 To compensate, I have been out digging up the front path - and Toby has been supervising lol. I can only do a little at a time as it is hard on my back but I need to get it done today to give the jackhammer back tomorrow. I only have a small section to go then the clean up (which I can do in my own time). My neighbour has told me to dump all the concrete in the skip bin when it comes so that is super nice. He is using my power and water every now and then though so it evens out I suppose. I am definitely going to need a long warm bath after I finish and then plenty of rest. Then next week I can lay the pavers. Luckily the concrete under the previous tiles is deep so I will still have a stable base to lay them - which will make the job much quicker. If I can get the path laid these holidays then that will be one big job out of the way before winter and the rain comes. The previous tiled path has been a slip hazard for years and I have hurt myself a number of times so it will be so good to have it redone.

I hear you @TAB same here. The path is up and I am going to have a long rest now before I clean up.

@Zoe7 You always seem to amaze me of how multi talented you are hon. From teaching, to art, to using a jackhammer. You really are talented in so many different ways.

Motel full of caravans for some reason. Am literally having to avoid being hit by reversing down roads after the block road , one justnearly hit me in carpack attempting a U turn etc etc

Prob used to cruise ships bought van cos covid yet can barely drive a car lol
