Far and Away

Ha ha, I had considered that @TAB . But which way do I go, North or South? I'm currently almost smack bang between the two. As mentioned, close to 6 hrs drive to each, one directly North and one directly South. So no, I'm not going to move to them.

Yes I too hope Boland does well. But he always does, doesnt he? No reason to doubt that he will again. He has become quite a cult hero hasnt he? But I am very much a Starc and Cummins fan when it comes to bowlers. Oops Cummins just dropped a difficult return catch 😱

As for Warner ... yeah a tough one. Like you, I kinda hope he fails again to make selectors job easier to "retire" him. He has been a good player, but I blame him predominantly for being the head instigator of the infamous sandpaper affair. He is rightly lifetime banned from any leadership role.

I actually briefly met him at the Sydney airport a few years ago. He is much shorter, leaner and fitter in real life than he appears on TV. He was friendly enough and smiled and said hello when I said hello to him.

I had a lovely day with my son and his mate playing 500 card games, seeing a movie and yep a bit of cooking. Could not get online for a moment so busy busy.

Yep there is a limit to watching shows and stuff. Not sure if you are up to any Qi gong online, but I have found it helpful as a way to break up the day and move through the day.

Son has an invite so we are going out soon, which is good. He has been so isolated. Hoping he gradually get a life for himself. We saw his boy Friday which was also lovely but brings up big feelings. Life is wot it is. Hope your situation gets better.

I am gutted for you @Faith-and-Hope that things ended badly for you yesterday Hon. No doubt courtesy of a/h 😔 I hope you can resolve whatever it is quickly and can enjoy your grandbaby dragons today.

I visited Mum this morning but did not go for lunch with her and my sister. Unfortunately I am not well (headache, sore throat and tummy issues) so it was a struggle making the trip to see her. Slept for a couple of hours when I returned home and feel slightly better so hoping more rest will help further. I don't think I will be doing much for the next few days but as soon as I feel a lot better I will meet Mum to celebrate her birthday ...very disappointed I was not able to do that today 😥
