Not great @tyme I am really struggling with a few things. I was hoping for a scheduled call from my psych this morning but it didn't happen. It was not set in stone - and she may call later when she gets a chance but I will not be waiting by the phone. I need to go out later to finish up some Christmas shopping but not able to at the moment as I am in a bit of pain. Hopefully that will ease with a bit more rest and some more pain relief. It really is hard to get things done when in so much pain but knowing how much the kids loved their day yesterday helps me get through it a little better.

Sorry to hear that @Zoe7 . I hope the pain eases and you get some relief. Any special activities lined up for the kids next week?

No not really @tyme There is a lot happening around the school so we had our special day yesterday. The last three days will be a lot of cleaning up, finishing off things and keeping the kids awake lol They are so tired so keeping things calm and easy it will be. The last day will be cleaning and moving furniture so most likely a movie day also before we head outside to farewell the grade 6s.

Hi @tyme feeling a little exhausted and overwhelmed with starting work last week.

Also a little emotionally drained.

I find 🌲🎅a really hard time of the year.

Hi @Zoe7 sorry to hear of your back pain today. It sure makes getting things done really hard and challenging to get into the Christmas spirit.

Hugs @Former-Member - hope you ca recuperate over the weekend. DO you work right up until Christmas day? This period of time has also been highly stressful for me in the past as it is an anniversary of a terrible time in my life.

However, with heaps of support, I've now been able to cope much better - that God!

As for my project, it's a bit up in the air at the moment. I'm waiting...taking it slowly. I'll go back to it in the new year.

Feet are up as we speak @tyme. Although Christmas won't be perfect. It's a lot better than where I have been for some others. I like your take on things.

Been out and done the last of my shopping @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @tyme Also spoken to my psych 👍 She has asked me to call her if I need this week which is very kind of her. I think I will be okay - just need to get through the next few days but know the option is there if I need it.

I am going to go outside while I can and mow the backyard. The new pain meds my GP gave me have given me some relief this afternoon so I hope that continues. Going to be a long night trying to get all this work done 😔
