Lol @Zoe7 that is so cute and funny about the old kennel. Animals Can act rather strangely with the cones on, it's kind of like they are drunk and have lost their spacial awareness.

Pleased your finger isn't broken. Digits hurt so much when injured. Hope it doesn't throb later - maybe you should ice it.

Anyways enjoy your chill time. Freezing here in Melbourne again and raining. I'm settling in myself after a somewhat busy day 😊.

I have iced it @Former-Member that is why it was numb lol Starting to thaw out now and is swollen and sore but manageable.

@Faith-and-Hope @tyme @Former-Member @Snowie @Eve7 Have finished the paving for today and cleaned everything up. I decided to cut the last few pavers whilst I had everything out so now I just have to concrete in last longer edge. I will do that tomorrow and then sweep over some grey mortar and water it all in (weather dependant - need a still day otherwise I will eat the mortar rather than being able to sweep it in). I am using a fine mortar rather than sand to give it a bit more stability as it is the main walkway in the backyard.

Time for a shower then feed the babies and fall on the couch for the night. It has been a long day but a good day - great to have something accomplished even if my fingers do not agree lol

Thanks @tyme Had a shower also so feeling much cleaner. I think you could have built a wall on all the dust in my hair lol Now to feed the fur babies - got out of the shower and Toby had 'removed' his cone ...tricky little fella. I will feed him first and then put it back on 👍

How are you feeling today? I know it was a tricky weekend for you so hoping a few good days this week has put that in the past for you.

I sort of feel better. I'm keeping myself in check and monitoring any changes - just to make sure I'm on track.

I don't feel super great, but I'm not bad either.

We often forget that our wonderful PSWs can have bad days and their own MH to deal with @tyme I am glad you don't feel bad but not good that you haven't picked up much. Giving the painting a break to dry a bit before I start on it again.

I have turned my attention to some hand stitched work instead.

How’s the finger ?

I understand @Faith-and-Hope I got a bit inpatient waiting for my last one to dry so I could do more over the top but luckily I was only using acrylics so I put it in front of the heater overnight lol What are you hand stitching?

Finger is very sore but the swelling has gone down a little so that is good. I just 'watered' my new path hahaha Washed off all the dust and dirt so it is ready to brush on the mortar when the wind stops. I do wish I had enough pavers to finish it whilst I am off but I just cannot afford them at present. I have been getting them this week from a masonry business and they are much more expensive. I will wait until Bunnings has them back in stock.
