@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Former-Member @Eve7 @Shaz51 @BlueBay A quick thank you to everyone and update. Saw my GP this afternoon and she wants me to take some time off. Have spoken to my ass Principal as our Principal is away and am currently having a week off. After I see my psych on Saturday we can reassess where I am at. I am completely exhausted and feeling it both physically and mentally. I haven't had a complete break since term 1 as all the subsequent holidays have been filled with stress, unwell family members, deaths and doing so much for others - I just need some time to myself to rest and get through the both the physical and emotional toll it has all taken on me. I have some meds to help for the next few days (so I won't be moving far from the couch) and plenty of fur baby cuddles coming up.

So glad you are taking some time off work and looking after yourself @Zoe7

I am glad you got to see your gp and are seeing your psych soon.

I hope this week off helps mentally and physically for you hon.

@Snowie Thanks Hon. I haven't felt this physically and mentally exhausted or low for a long time. I know it will pass but I just can't function properly. I have been struggling to hold back tears all day - just one death too many and I am at breaking point 😥 ...so I need space and time from everything.

That is completely understandable hon @Zoe7

You have been through so much lately and need that time just to yourself. Sometimes we just need to put ourselves first.

I know there will be two fur babies that will be extremely happy having you home and lots of attention!

Yes they will @Snowie and I am looking forward to that time with them. I am also not going to tell my family I am having a week off - just need some space from everything.
