Far and Away

It has always been the case @Former-Member Someone said to me when my Pop died that they were glad it was me who found him because I am the strong one in the family... but I was dying inside. It has never left me - what they said or finding him. I had to leave him to go and see my Mum and then Dad at work to tell them and then ring my sister to tell her. I think I was on automatic pilot at the time but afterwards I disappeared for the rest of the day. I did say where I would likely be so my Mum phoned and found me. I didn't want to go home though as it was just too much ...but I was being looked after. That is my way - I prefer to be on my own and deal with things in my own way.

You are so courageous and brave @Zoe7 but don't forget to lean on your supports.

@creative_writer Rest, rest and more rest for you then tonight 💖 I know these uni days take a lot out of you but you are still going and doing what you need - and that is so positive. Uni is hard work at any time but to be able to keep going and deal with MI is pretty amazing 👍

I have a great support team @Former-Member and have talked to them about my Dad. I haven't gone into a lot but my psych lets me just go with the flow ...and that is great because I am not only comfortable with her but can talk about some things without any pressure or being pushed to say more than I can at the time.
