@Faith-and-Hope I am okay. It has taken a couple of days to recover from the migraine but doing much better today. Yesterday I had one of the best days with my kids this term - we did some work with drawing and describing emotions - they needed to develop a theme ie monsters, flowers, rainbows etc. then draw a variety of emotions in that theme and describe their characters. They loved it so much we continued today. I am blown away by their creativity and detail in both their illustrations and their descriptions. It has also been a great exercise to tune them into all the emotions they can feel at different times. One of my little angels who suffers from anxiety actually got up and described what she often feels. It was such a massive thing for her to do and also so empowering for her. I was so, so proud of her ...I actually had tears in my eyes. ...and the other kids were so appreciative of her sharing with them. So many of them congratulated her in being so brave ...these are 7 and 8 year olds but could show so many adults what kindness and support is.
