Just had a call from the new psych my pdoc asked to see me. She sounds so lovely and I instantly felt comfortable talking to her so I think it is going to be a good fit. She also works Saturdays so I won't need to try to fit things in around work. I won't be able to begin seeing her until after Easter but that works well for me also - time to get settled back into work, into my own routines and also have a little savings to be able to pay for monthly sessions. It won't cost a lot as the medicare rebate will cover a large portion but I will need to be able to cover the gap. All in all though I am happy she has agreed to take me on as that also means I will be able to see my pdoc every few months even though she has closed her private practice ...yet to work out exactly how that will look but that was the solution she came up with to make it easier on me. She is still working with inpatients at the hospital so will work appointments in with me somehow around that ...but that is for her to sort out 👍

Today has been pretty much a right off so far - got the washing done but slept most of the day. Going to try to get some housework done tonight so I have tomorrow to do school work - need to catch up on work and get my planning done as early as I can so I am more prepared for what will be another long week ...a lot of meetings again after school on most days and still some classroom sorting out to do.
