Bored in hospital after my spinal surgery. Not allowed to get up without calling for assistance. Nothing better to do than watch the catheter tube fill up every time I drink water. Told to drink more coz BP too low still. Sigh!

Wish we could have visitors, my one friend lives nearby but cant visit. Was good to see her Tues, when she collected me from the train. But because my train was an hour late, and subsequently running late for hospital admission .. It was all very rushed.

@Emelia8 Hospitals can be boring places at the best of times. I can't imagine what it is like during Covid.

Are you and your friend able to Skype or something? I know it's not the same as an in person visit, but it can give you girls a chance to catch up and have a good chat.

Hope your recovery is speedy.
