A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

@Faith-and-Hope Been asleep all afternoon again - did you get your nap in too?

Really have not got anything done here today but that is okay - needed the rest more.

Re: Far and Away

@Former-Member @Zoe7 ….. had to go without the nap. One of the baby dragons needed my support. Have functioned on low energy output today instead, and aiming to be asleep by pumpkin hour.

Re: Far and Away

I hope you got to sleep by pumpkin hour @Faith-and-Hope 😴 and that your baby dragon that needed support is doing okay today ❤️

I managed to do a little housework and begin some of the preparation for the sewing I need to do. I would have done more last night but it is harder to see black at night - need natural light - so will do what I need today. I did make a couple of things for school and will spray some parts of the tree house today now the rain seems to have stopped for a while. We had some pretty big thunderstorms here and a lot of rain - water made it's way into the garage and there is some damage in the kitchen where there seems to be a leak. Unfortunately it will mean I need to move a few things to get to it and will have to get on the roof to see what is happening - so it won't be a job I can do straight away.

Still feeling tired but not as exhausted as I have been so hoping to get a few of those things ticked off today. Hope you have a good day Hon 💕

Got to bed by pumpkin hour @Zoe7, but not to sleep for a while after tbat. I woke early, but then dozed back off, so that wasn’t too bad. I have some baking to do for a cake stall today, so that will keep me out of mischief for a while. Baby dragon is doing much better today.

Enjoy your sewing project ❣️

Re: Far and Away

I love Smokey days for you @Shaz51 😺💖

Haven't gotten to the sewing @Faith-and-Hope Slept all afternoon 😔 Curled up with Tobes for a minute and woke 3 hours later - but did get the washing off the line before it rained again 👍

Now going to make the bed, spray the tree house pieces in the garage and settle in to watch the cricket tonight. I think it is already too dark here to do the sewing with the rain coming again ...so might be a tomorrow job now.

Re: Far and Away

I have been cuddled up with Holly for most of today too @Zoe7 while watching the cricket.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Not sure how successful the latest meds will be for Holly. If the nosebleeds dont stop, she wont last long. And the ABs and steroids she is on is aimed at shrinking the tumour in her sinuses to help with breathing issues. They cant fix the problem, only try to manage it for as long as possible. 😔

@Faith-and-Hope Thinking of you.

@Shaz51 Sounds like I have had a similar day as you today. A load of washing, plus an extra load with all Hollys nosebleed stained bedding. And I have cooked myself roast chicken (cheated with 1/2 Coles bbq chook) and roast potato, roast pumpkin, and steamed beans. I do love hearing about your Smokey days, and the photo is great. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Far and Away

You are cooking one of my favourites @Shaz51 Nan used to cook a Sunday roast every week and more often than not with roast chicken just for me ...and an apple pie or crumble too because that is all the dessert I would eat - I was very spoiled by Nan 💖

Every moment you have left is precious @Emelia8 Cat had steroids too as well as her cancer meds - it gave me nearly 2 more years with her. You may not have that long with Holly but you never know - if these meds work then it could be longer than you think 🤞🐶💖

❤️❤️❤️ @Zoe7 @Shaz51 @Emelia8 …..

IGA roast chicken for dinner here tonight ….. lol …. we’re on a theme ❣️ I am making Coleslaw to go with it, and I have some apple muffins with custard 😋. Feels like a night for spoiling ourselves a bit.
