I haven’t slept as well as I hoped. Every time that happens I try to commit to an afternoon nap, but then that doesn’t seem to happen. I will have to keep trying to set pumpkin joyride as a firm boundary for lights out.

Yesterday ended up being more full-on than I thought. I caught up with some friends who had purchased an artwork from me to deliver it to them over a coffee in the open air ….. then it was to a dr’s apt for D2. I have a cake stall I will be contributing to this weekend, so I stocked up some supplies for that, and then it was an unexpected baby dragon time …. 🤗❣️ Dinner was late again. D2 was cooking, and she made some ….. adjustments ….. to the recipe, so we had to become a bit creative with solutions …. lol. A background movie as I worked on the puzzle finished off the day, but I couldn’t settle.fir some reason afterwards. Too many balls in the air, and out ones I can’t control, methinks.

Oh well, will try to commit ti a nap again today. Setting a time might help ….. like scheduling an apt ….

Sounds like a full on day yesterday but the added bonus of surprise baby dragon time 😀

I love hearing about D2 and what she is up to Hon - and the 'adjustments' to the recipe made me giggle. It is good she is trying to adapt things in her own way but not always good tinkering with recipes hey lol

Sending you a net to catch some of those balls and save for later - they will still be there, just waiting safely for another time 😍

We have constant rain here today so far so an inside day for me. I am not going to do much though - more rest and recovery after yesterday afternoon/evening. Got some sewing I might do and then maybe start the background of the paintings for Mum ...but going to go with how I feel and what I can be bothered doing.

Sounds good @Zoe7 ….. and you have inspired me to start the backgrounds for works I have on the back burner ….. 👍

Might put a movie on and get stuck into the sewing - have a few things to mend and whilst it shouldn't take long I need to get everything set up first. Enjoying snuggle time with Tobes spread out asleep next to me so a bit reluctant to get up 🐶💖

Wishing I could sleep in the day. My nights are wonky too. Stupid dreams etc.
