@Emelia8 Holly is so important to you Hon but you also have your family and of course us here. I do know though that that bond you have with your fur baby is everything to you - could not imagine life without mine either - they are our babies and the thought of losing them is unfathomable. I still miss my girl but also feel so fortunate to have Toby and Clover ...so cry a little then focus on them. I know it isn't the right time now but I hope you consider getting another fur baby (maybe a rescue dog) because you have a lot of love to give and any dog would be lucky to have you in their lives.

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Eve7 @Anastasia Have to have some more tests tomorrow so won't be at work. I am feeling a lot better - nausea gone - but the headaches just won't go. Pain killers are helping now with the severity of them though. I still have reports to do as well but they are presently taking second place to rest and recovery because looking at a computer screen for long periods is certainly not helping.

Hey @Shaz51, is that the first time it has happened? I'm sorry to see you're feeling awful. I can imagine it would be stressful on top of your full plate. Is your mom ok?

i made mum some lunch and then she had a rest not a sleep though

made her a cuppa this afternoon , mum is reading a book at the moment

she said she is only going to have custard for dinner tonight

for me I have watered all mums pot plants and have put a roast on with roast veges

it was worrying to see my indepentant mum burst into tears , but she would not say what she saw

soo I think i will have to make a appoinment with a doctor i think

What you say is right, though its not how it feels right now. I do have family, but they all live between 6 and 8 hours drive away. I have a close friend, but she lives 4-5 hrs away. And with my back issue causing me considerable pain now for 6 months, I am not capable of driving those distances. A specialist I saw yesterday recommended I need a spinal fusion operation. Its major risky surgery and I would need to go to Sydney. Several days in hospital and a long recovery time. Difficult when I am on my own. I am considering a slightly less risky surgical option, but it too requires me to be in Sydney. It all seems way too difficult.

Since my husbands sudden death in April ... Holly is my everything. The reason I struggle on each day. Without her ... I dont know.

I just hope I have the strength to make the best decisions for her when the time comes. I spoke to the vet this week when I had Holly in there unable to stop her severe nosebleed. He said they could come to my home when the time comes. Holly gets highly stressed going to the vet, and I want to spare her that.

I just dont know. Its all too hard.
