A challenge I would think 😕 Hope this is a time yo rekindle some first love maybe.
Any good churches to visit there? Did you go this morning? Love ancient architecture and history. Churches are great for it. Hugz xox

Re: Far and Away

Well Zoe7, if it's over the post on the WORRY thread, about 'Pet loss' I was worried if you read it, but certainly didn't intend to hurt you, directly or indirectly, that's not me, cause I felt for you, even though Cat was sic for months, it still hurts I know.. Think your experience

bumped into my own big losses / grief... and I needed to separate it and reached out. I still don't think we should grieve ourselves quite so much over pets, but know animal lovers who've been so mortified. I had to distance from that pain. I did express my sympathy to you though. So I'm sorry, you felt that way. You did seem to be getting so much support I didn't think you'd notice how I was feeling. Chin Up xox

Re: Far and Away

Very tired tonight got @Zoe7, so here, but quiet. Back at uni today, but my morning went to pieces first ..... carer for D2 got the day wrong, D3 needed help to get to a dr's apt with no warning, which then ran overtime, and meds were needed from the chemist, making me later .... then couldn't find my ID card to get onto campus ..... :face_with_rolling_eyes:.

Lots of walking too cos I have to avoid public transport until the Covid issue here gets back under control ......

Jave come home and fallen into a heap. Cooked some shellfish for dinner without realising they needed a good rinse first, so we made our way through shell-grit ..... 😬.

One of those days .....

Morning @Snowie ..... off to a slow start here.

Hope you are feeling better today @Zoe7 . Is it back to work ?

Re: Far and Away

No not back today @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie - my stomach has been turning circles since yesterday and is worse today - hoping it passes soon and I can go back tomorrow. Not as tired today but I have slept for most of the last 28 hours since I came home yesterday. Have a pdoc appointment later this afternoon so hoping to be okay for that but not going to see Mum now until tomorrow - can't risk taking in any bug. Pdoc should be okay as we still very much social distance.

Mum has been moved to a ward so some great news for today 😁 She will still be in hospital for a while as she needs to continue to heal and gain some strength but it is looking so much more positive now.

Re: Far and Away

So glad to hear your Mum has been moved to a ward @Zoe7 That must be a relief for you all. I hope she continues to build up her strength and doesn't have to be in there for too much longer.

Sounds like you have needed the sleep hon so I am glad you are putting yourself first. Work is important but your health and wellbeing is even more important. I hope your pdoc appointment goes ok this afternoon.

Re: Far and Away

It is a relief @Snowie Last week she wrote she didn't think she would get better - it was horrible seeing her so scared and not improving as quick as everyone had hoped - but she is getting there now 👍

The last month has been so tiring - physically and mentally - so I am not at all surprised I have slept so much over the last day - nor my stomach being affected. We have had a tummy bug going through school so it seems I have had that too - so a combination of things have floored me. I do need to be back tomorrow though as I have some art to get together for a competition that closes on Friday - need student info and permissions done so it is going to be a rush
