WH can't keep his body temperature regulated at times. He had the chills for a few hours the other morning and was too weak to jog. He went back to bed, but was still shivering with his feet like ice even through socks. The "hotties" help to keep him warm. This is how he is treating the symptoms that reveal his body is in distress.

The new canvas is a street scene @Zoe7 ..... a favourite spot in Europe. It's not up for local competition. but because my style in oils is identifyable, and these pieces are on display, I have to be careful about sharing them ..... unfortunately .... as it can compromise anonymity.

My acrylics and practice pieces I will continue to share 😊 especially the ones like Stepping Stones that I paint specifically for the forums.

I was wondering about your painting - but knowing it is a street scene I can imagine something similar to the one you painted while away - that's enough for me

WH is really not well - his body is telling him one thing and his head is saying another - I hope he can come to the realisation he is unwell before it is too late - because he is already showing very clear signs that his body is breaking down. That must be so horrible and sad for you to watch - and to be able to do nothing to help him - oh @Faith-and-Hope so very sad for you Hon.

Try not to be sad @Zoe7 .... and see it from this perspective.

WH is ill with a family illness. These are the ideas, ideals, and personality disordered issues that have plagued his family for at least the last two generations - hard to know before that because war claimed too many family members.

As awful as this is, hopefully, hopefully, this is what stops it ..... what educates it ..... what sends it in a new direction and has everybody aware of how to keep it in the positive ..... how to live with themselves without the punishing trauma they inflict on themselves and others without realising.

It's sad in that it's still happening, but it is also the seed of hope that with the medical awareness and support systems available now he can be rescued and our relationships restored in a better outcome than we had before.

I do see it from that perspective also @Faith-and-Hope - but I cannot stop feeling sad for you/with you - and as positive as you are about what may happen and when - I do know how very hard it is for you and I do wish that it wasn't like this for you. You deserve all the happiness that this world can bring you and I truly hope that going through all this heartache will lead you (and your whole family) to a much better, closer and more loving place - and that you will find true love and happiness again.
