I have been out with the family for dinner tonight, which was a lovely surprise organised by my gorgeous D1.

S2 had his first CBT therapy classes today, and came home much relieved that they were okay, and he is starting to feel like he is going to be okay .... ❣️

i don't think I am going to be awake very much longer. Last night ended up being about 5 hours of broken sleep so I am sagging .... hope we both sleep well.

So pleased about S2 starting to feel like he is going to be okay - that is a huge step - and I suspect a weight off your mind a little also.

I was hoping for anearly night myself tonight but I slept most of today - this party planning stuff takes alot of energy LOL

But for the first time in a couple of weeks I am ok - and not worried whether I sleep or not. My anxiety levels are quite low and no massive triggers (so far) today. I also saw my GP today so that has also probably settled me a little - it was nearly a week and a half ago last time I saw her - and not being able to see her after my psychiatrist appointment last week really did affect me - too much in my head and no respite by seeing my GP (she really does settle me).

I hope you are already asleep and get some long, unbriken sleep tonight....

Oh wow - 2 days - that is really exciting @Faith-and-Hope I really hope you do well but the worst thing is if you do then we won't know - that bit sucks!

I do believe the after party did me in - considering how big my glass was (and I don't drink alcohol) - I must have had a massive 'virtual' hangover today to sleep so much lol

Wait to you see phoenix rising's cake - it is super cute (I think so anyway) - and there are still a few more days in the week to continue celebrating your birthday 'week' lol

What are your plans for tomorrow? I may even go to Bunnings if I eventually get some sleep tonight!

I am planning to go for a long walk, then a foot massage. That is all that is really on the agenda, but mingled in there will be sorting out more pieces of my rebuild-my-house puzzle ..... D1 said last night that the results are already starting to show, which pleased me no-end .... ❣️

I am also considering starting a new painting, this one is set somewhere overseas, so it is not eligible for an Australian art comp, but it is an image close to my heart .... and one I bought the canvas for last year. Time to get painting more now too .... I can see that .... rather than just stewing in no-mans-land while our situation unfolds or collapses, Ineed to redirect my energies into my artwork and really start stepping out.

If I put enough big impressive pieces behind me, it is more likely that in the wake of whatever goes down, I can consider re-enrolling in art school next year and try to finish my degree. If I am right, and it becomes known just what the last 8 years struggle has cost me emotionally and psychologically, I am hoping everyone who loves me will get behind making my degree possible, because I would need help with D2 particularly, and I can't rely on my inlaw family for that. My studies would also dominate the management of the house, so my family would have to switch it around to looking after me ... which is not possible under our current circumstances.

Getting into my artwork seriously is the first step I can take towards that goal, and I am starting to feel ready to do that.

Wow @Faith-and-Hope That is the most positive I have heard you in quite a while - so pleased for you. Maybe things really are starting to turn for you. I know there is a very long way to go and so much to still come out and be dealt with but even considering being able to re-enrol in art school next year is a huge step forward for yourself.

Having D1 say she can see that your 'rebuilding of your house' is starting to show must have really warmed your heart - that is such a wonderful acknowledgement that others can see what you have been doing is making a difference for everyone.

I am so thrilled for you @Faith-and-Hope - keep painting, keep moving forward and keep being YOU.
