Yep @Former-Member .... all pull together to get there ....

WH is being cursory ... so yeah ...back to basic convo but he's still agro under it ... no eye contact and no warmth at all .... par for the course at the mo ....

MIL goes all chatty, asking me about trivia and trying to deflect attention from her prince .... mustn't upset the prince you see .... her culture and era .... drives me nuts so I ignore it as politely as possible.

Colder today than since we've been here ... going touring today but it's on a coach, so will be okay.

D3 off crutches mostly, but they are on standby for cobble-stone streets or when her knee gets to sore to walk on. Has to keep using it to repair .... but she's come down with a cold now, so she will be staying home from the tour.

Agree with Tawney @Appleblossom .... can you keep some healthy snacks on hand so you eat across the day ? Energy crashes won't do much for mood stability .... I know you didn't mean to, but especially while you are stressed about your bro, nutrition is necessary for your own health ....

Travelling with an assortment of individuals here .... a grandma in her 80's, an intellectually disabled 20-something, a daughter on crutches, an e.d. hubby who bales to eat his own food and jog / gym .... add inclement weather and not knowing the city .... coach tours are more user-friendly for us as a group ....

Dont worry, in some places we train or tram or bus it ... S2 will hoof it with me to museums and art galleries .... WH mostly just wants to sit in street cafes drinking coffee with his mum when he's not runnin' The Regimen which takes up half the day or more ... he will come on occasional coach tours.

D3 and S2, and to some degree D2 all paint / draw .... so it's something we do together while others are shopping, shopping, shopping (MIL) or in the gym / jogging for hours (WH).

The no-talkies hapoened when WH demanded answers to questions that took us onto his e.d. territory, and he couldn't handle it. Wasn't sure which way he would swing, but he seems to be settling back down a bit now. I have drawn a line in the sand. Won't engage with his e.d. behaviours anywhere I don't have to, and he's cross cos I think he convinced himself that they were so well hidden that nobody knew they existed. I blew that open when I answered the questions he was demanding I answer.

Cant know what will trigger his self-awareness, so have to just step out in faith with these things and see what happens.
