oh shite - that is so hard to break out of too - I feel for you both
I have been doing really well the last week with sleep - until tonight. It just takes one 'little' thing to stop me wanting to sleep - and tonight has been one of those nights. One thing on top of another and I'm up, awake and know it's going to be a long night. I hope the sleep meds work for him and can stop the cycle before it gets too hard to break. @Faith-and-Hope
I have to tell you all about my day - it has been a very up and down down.
Firstly - I nearly had an accident driving to the psychiatrist. I drove around a very sweeping bend and the car slid towards the side rail (it was wet and probably oil on the road) - I tried to correct but slid the opposite way. I really thought the car was going to flip over - but by some miracle I held on and slowly corrected to bring it back on the road. I was so grateful that nothing was coming the other way or the outcome would have been quite different
As you can imagine I was pretty stressed after this and was still shaking when I arrived to see the psych. I did settle and was much more open with her today than I have been previously.
It is also extremely likely that I have had concussion for the last few days since I fell and hit my head - GP and psych both think so considering I don't know how long I was unconscious for on Saturday night - could have been a few seconds or minutes - definitely didn't get up off the floor for over an hour!!!! If my headache isn't better tomorrow I have to go back and have a CT scan - bugger!
Then after I saw the psych I called into a shop and there were these really cute stone bowls and ornaments. This is where it gets a bit weird - the first stone I picked up said FAITH and the second one said HOPE - so bizarre. I did smile at that - should have bought them to show you!!! - and the third stone said believe - just one of those days!!!!!
