Love the beach pics @Faith-and-Hope 'golden waters' Do do a few nice things for yourself (big 'me time' moments) before WH gets back.
Hi @Zoe7, creativity seems to be the first thing to go when I'm relapsing. The things we need most seem to go first. Having g said that, it never seems to amZe me how just doing a little bit (simple bits) of the things we like, starts the ball rolling a little, here and there.

As for you teachers, explains a lot. Its been my observation over the years that school teacher mums make the best mums. You both impress me. xox

Morning @Former-Member nice to meet you I am sure that others have already done so but let me also add - somewhat belatedly perhaps but - welcome to the forum

I do find it really hard to get motivated to paint whenI am not feeling great. It is a matter of 'head/heartspace'. If I can't find any 'soul' in my heart then my head can't follow. The effort I need to find to do 'just a little' is often too much. I know @Faith-and-Hope gets this also.

...but when I am engrossed in the process... it does flow easily and I accomplish a lot quite quickly.

Painting really is a great outlet but only when I am in the right 'place' to do it.

@Former-Member thankyou for your comments about teacher mums - I am only a 'mum' to a puddy tat and a puppy dog - no kids of my own (a couple of hundred at school though lol) but your words were very kind and I do spoil my fur babies as if they were human babies

Again @Former-Member lovely to meet you - and I hope I will be able to get to know more about you around the forum

I have been out tonight, but I am home now. Needed to find some peace at church tonight to sort a few things out in my mind, and I think I have found it.

Just giving the kids a late dinner, and then I will be around for a while tonight ....
