That is absolutely beautiful @Faith-and-Hope - that wonderful pale pink - and so elegant - yes certainly has an antique feel to it. My favourite rose in my garden is a vibrant red - it is the Daniel Morcombe Rose - has a very special spot in my garden!

it is a very beautiful rose and it does mean a lot to me. I have worked with one other person in organising fundraisers and walks for Day for Daniel over several years - last year was the first year the walk wasn't organised in our 'area' as I wasn't well enough - I know I couldn't help being sick but it was still disappointing that I was unable to organise anything Maybe this year!

I hope you do muster the courage to take it on again this year @Zoe7 .... it might be a good project to work on progressively behind the scenes for the time you have off work, so this time adds value to something else ..... something very worthwhile .....

@Faith-and-Hope I might even be able to organise something bigger if I'm still not working or working part-time. We are still waiting for the implementation of the child safety curriculum developed by the Daniel Morcombe Foundation - which it is envisaged will become an Australia wide program. It is already undertaken in Queensland as part of the curriculum. Then I might be able to change my job a bit and work on that progrm. I do have a bit of an 'in' in regards to this but can't go into details here.
