I have my down moments too, but I try not to carry them along too far. I honour my feelings, and cry when I need to, but I have a family to hold together so I can't stay in that place too long or the kids will crumble along with me.

So .... here's to good company on the forums while we pick ourselves up and carry on .... 🍷💕

Phew, just caught up on 51 unread posts here @Faith-and-Hope, I love reading your family challenges and howvyou step up to the mark every time. Even taking roundxa meal for D1&SIL after their upset. Was that the close call road incident? I gasped when I read that. The thought of losing a child, any close call gets the adrenalin going. You're setting a wonderful example for them to pass onto future generations, even when your tired - your mum would be proud. I'm proud of you. xox

@TAB, thats very sensetive of you to pick up when someones flat - see, knew you were amazing! Hey, laughed out loud at your ref to a mary poppins song above re @Zoe7 's SUPER challenge that seemed to go unnoticed - cacked me up - you're so funny sometimes bro xox

@Zoe7, hope youre doing ok in your cocoon for a bit. We understand - go there a lot myself. Sounds like your sense of humour and spark is still in tact, never lost that 🙂 Really like your SUPER challenge - quite a super novel idea. You're a natural leader - your energy reminds me of a girl guide leader we had round campfire fun nights in my teens. You heal up and come back to us soon. No tush.

Hi @Former-Member thanks 😀 Hope you had a good day. Got my gas bottles delivered, all locked away behind gate now. Cheaper than I thought or was told on ph even, cos had empties maybe? Not questioning it.
Going to beef up security a bit more here re yard, bit concerned someone might want them. Hopefully that'll do me for winter re gas
Now just have to sort out firewood $100 a small trailer? ..I think not. Chainsaw good brand $250 trees everywhere outside town a trailer would prob last 2wks if cold dunno.
Got myself a roast and doing tv thing tonight. Work tomorrow got cancelled they have got to be kidding thought doing them a favour/doing right thing re old work well they can have their games ok its prob legit they're just not worth time of day tho re messing me around.

I'm OK thanks for caring @tab, you're doing pretty good it sounds (accept stupid work being a pain). I have two large gas bottles here but only keep one full at any time, cost 170 to renew once a year apx but guess I only really use it for cooking. Never thought about how easy they would be to steal. Maybe a chain and padlock would do the trick. Good luck getting firewood - keep ya fit doing that, watch ya back though my friend. Will you hire a trailer? Lend ya mine if I could. Enjoy your roast tonight xox

Yeah cost 160 was quoted way more. Not sure how long they last still using part full ones here, got them in case.
