Speaking of dogs @Former-Member@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope@Shaz51@BlueBay@Former-Member@Queenie@Former-Member@Decadian@Jacques@Former-Member@Former-Member@Zoe7@Whim@Ffm48@TAB@Former-Member and @ everyone else.
We have decided not to go ahead with the scheduled surgery for dog tomorrow. Dog is happy, bouncing around like a puppy, eating us out of house and home or would do if she had the chance. She's clearly not in pain and has been surfing this morning as well as running around on the beach with the other dogs there. She's getting stronger every day and isn't showing any signs of distress. Obviously if her condition deteriorates we'll review our decision. She's such an old dog we don't want to put her through that sort of trauma unnecessarily. There's stronger medications that can be used if necessary but for now she's doing well. Luv n Hugzzz to all 🎶💕

That's great news @Kurra - about your dog being happy and not showing any signs of distress and you still have options if she doesn't seem to doing ok. Great news - so happy for you

Re: Just checking in.
Makes sense @Kurra .. I got my 10yo puss put down 10yrs ago, had to play ducks and drakes re cost etc then they pulled the 'you must come in here and hold her' while she was being euthanased .. well everyone refused to look after her after I went away couple times for work.. sister stole all my stereo gear etc when away, just got told to take DVD player back after they used it for 10 years. Something seriously wrong with her.. anyhoo...

Re: Just checking in.
@Former-Member. Only here on the Sane Forum - can you get away with saying, that you were "searching for little green men". You just made me laugh so much - I undid all that pelvic floor exercises. I laughed with a friend today about how lucky I am to be diagnosed depression and anxiety & not something else - as people are starting to look at me strangely when I talk about what I 'see' when I meditate. Lol. I might need to carry around a card saying - does not hallucinate. I wonder if my psych would write me one.

@TAB - always with clean water - but one of the dogs lies with me in the pool. And with 3 dogs - there is always hair in my house and in my car. @Kurra - wonderful news about your dog.
