I went to Bunnings today @Teej (and said hi to the plants from you 😉). While I was there I picked up a couple of little pots of pretties for a project I'm going to do in the vegetable garden. It's a small but special one as it's a sort of closure kind of thing.
Here are a couple of the new ones to kickstart a flower corner of the garden.
They gave me a smile and I wanted to share hoping they might give you one too. Hope today feels OK/OK enough for you ❤

@CheerBear your post hit the right note today. I was struggling to pull myself together when I read your post. I’m delighted you are making a special garden with some pretties in it.
Long story long, your post managed to drag this sorry backside out and go water and look after mine. I had lost sight of it over the last few days. It was a nice surprise to go and be present for a bit and notice things. I got excited because my last frangiapani stick has new shoots and looks like it will make it too. Touch wood they all have now.
I was feeling wrecked and i guess a little disiriented but managed a phone conversation with my therapist as I couldn’t drag myself into the city and I knew a phone call would suffice. I was so much better for having prettied that I even wrote the stuff down to talk to her about. I think like @Zoe7 has found that it’s getting harder to back up those two appointments and I may cut it down, possibly after house settlement.

It is certainly harder for me now that I am working to have so many appointments on my day off @Teej I still see my pdoc fortnightly but am trying to spread out psych and gp monthly. I don't think I really need to see the psych even that often though - there is not much I need to talk to her about so maybe keeping my remaining appointments more spaced out is a better option. Things will likely get more stressful at the end of next term if I have to change schools again - I am currently only at this school for the first 2 terms - but we are all hoping it will be extended for the year.
Glad you did a phone meeting today - it is still contact but without all the travel - and you are staying connected which is important. It is also great that you wrote things down to talk to her about - great thinking

@Zoe7 It’s usually 2 hours of travelling for my appointments either way by car or by bus. It usually doesn’t bother me but today I was passed getting my head around getting there and back.
It would be wonderful if you were offered this school again and avoid that big horrible anxiety of change. Will be crossing everything for you. It worked last time 😂😘

Hope it works this time too but still a term to go so I am not worrying about it for sometime yet @Teej
2 hours travelling either way is too much - no wonder you settled for a phone call - and you seem to be in a better place tonight than you may have been if you had to travel today for the appointment.
