I have been doing some painting today - it took me a while to get going but have managed to fold all the sheets, do some grocery shopping and a bit of my painting - so today I get a pass mark...just lol

@Mazarita I was given two branches of frangipani the other day. Ive wanted one for sooo long but couldn’t justify the price of buying one.......and kept chickening out to ask strangers if I could nick a stem from their front yard 🤦♀️. My neighbor (who I didn’t know even had one) happened to have them in her hand and asked me if I wanted one.....Christmas complete 😊. I’m hoping I’ll now have a lovely scented, pretty plant that will probably be a living reminder of you 😘
Just checking in @CheerBear. I know I’ve been scarce. Wondering how you are travelling currently.
I’ve hit the reality phase of being on my own totally but am holding my own. All sons away, friend away, parents away. Some will be back soon enough though. I fell in a hole yesterday but managed to drag myself out. Feeling like I’m in some weird alternate universe but just plodding through it. Would love to hear your post Christmas experience.

My son is playing a beautiful chopin nocturne with sensitivity.
For some reason I seem to be lumped with the job of bring modern music into the house again. I might use it for a later project ...

Being alone can be very hard but also gives some sorts of freedom in return perhaps.. glad that you wont be too alone for too long @Teej . Hoping that maybe those that are away are also only a text message away too for you - the modern world! 😄
Frangipani were my fav flowers, i hope yours grows beautifully!
