Awake once more at the dawn hour. Just watched the full moon set over the rooftop from my courtyard, while the first beautiful deep blue of the day appeared in the sky.

@CheerBear, the moon was very bright, almost hurt my eyes! Reminded me that it is reflecting the light of the sun to us at night. Those are the kinds of thoughts that pop up at random in my mind on first waking, lol.

I'm usually close to my best at this time of the day lately, when it's too early for any feelings I 'should' be doing something, and there's still some of that peace of mind I so love in the late night.

Yesterday was another sleep day really, but I did some video editing too. That is fairly frustrating at the moment, not seeing a way forward with it, just trying out lots of possibilities in the hopes of finding something that might work. Aside from that, we went to close friend's place last night. It was good to be out of the flat for the first time since last Saturday.

I haven't caught up on posts from yesterday. How are you travelling at the moment? Anything you feel like talking about from yesterday?

Good on you for lifting yourself out of a troubled headspace yesterday, @CheerBear. Somehow you do seem calmer this morning than the past few days.

So glad seeing your GP helped. I hope you will be slowly tapering the meds, not going off them too quickly, but I'm guessing you both know to do that. Sounds good about the ultrasound on Monday too, so that things become clearer still.

I have no plans for today. Will probably tinker with the video some more. Tomorrow we are going again to the country town I have mentioned before, where our friend there is launching his latest book. Today I will probably mostly store up my energy for that, as events like that are challenging on the social level for me, and often quite exhausting, as well as enjoyable in other ways.

Really glad you have some quieter time with just you and the LF from now, @CheerBear, especially with the change in meds. Wise move not rushing any decision just now, giving the thoughts and feelings more space and time.

This friend with the book launch is someone I met on the net as a creative collaborator first of all. I've worked with im on three videos so far, mostly through net exchanges. We've been getting together in person on occasions for about a year now. He's becoming a good friend too, though I think he has millions of them! He is an interesting person culturally, rather sophisticated in some ways, which means I am still kind of intimidated by him in some ways! In other ways, he's fairly hippy. Kind of a nice mix.

There may be quite a few people at the launch. It's the kind of event that I like going too, but also find a bit intimidating on the cultural level. And yes, just the basic social aspects of it are daunting to me too.

Hoping the night at the place with the lovely garden has helped settle your loved ones for now.
