Good morning @Mazarita, @Former-Member, I feel a little rocky this morning, a self enduced rocky mixed with meeting some different people. I found I got to a certain point then I really needed a break from people. I hit a big stop and then want to be as far from people as I can get. @Mazarita I have not been diagnosed with bipolar however I seem to share some similarities. So I'm not sure. @Former-Member, yes I think knowing my schemas does make a lot of sense as to how I cope in situations. So to some degree I can understand why I become so upset at times. Ah well I'm up, getting school run ready, made myself a breakfast to feel more human and shall see how the day pans out! Hope you both are well? ❤🙏

Re: Just checking in.
Hi @Former-Member, I relate to needing time out from people. I really cherish my time alone, even if I sometimes go overboard with it. About diagnosis, some people believe we are better off without them. I have found my 'label' useful in terms of the treatment it opened up, which has been more effective for me. I think all of these things depend on the individual and what works best for each of us. Hope today pans out very well for you. 🙂

Re: Just checking in.
Morning @Former-Member. My day started earlier than anticipated. I hope your munchkins behave and get to school without hassle. It's so cool to have both you and @Mazarita around again. Have you done much work on your coping modes? Just curious. Answer or not when ready 😊

Re: Just checking in.
Thank u @Mazarita, @Former-Member, means much today. I was driving home from school with a small feeling starting of being unsafe where I live and a little dizzy. S2 was a little emotional today too the poor kid, so I find I hold things together for my boy's. It was a late night for us and in future I might decline on trying to stay too long with partner. Our local pub had a weird vibe yesterday and it started from there. I'm not sure @Former-Member on coping modes, I think if things become too much I withdraw from people mostly. Yes I agree @Mazarita putting 'labels' down can be helpful to give a more directed approach to healing in times of crisis etc

Hi @Former-Member & @Former-Member
Holding ourselves for our children is a huge part of surviving growing and parenting. Glad your daughter is a little more settled than she was @Former-Member
LABELS .. how well you put it @Mazarita .. that it helps you pin down things .. so you can better manage or express self ... it is probably best when we have some agency over the use of labels .. any sort .. and not let them get on top of us or limit our imagination or self concepts.

Re: Just checking in.
Hi @Former-Member, Been busy, went away for the weekend and uni has started back and work is busy. I feel like I'm ready to fall asleep right now. I just don't understand how I have so little energy these days. I joked with my mum who told me to take some time off work that she was worried I'd get sick cause I was so busy. And I pointed out that I was only acting like a normal 30 year old. It's just I can't do that. I have so much less energy than my peers. 🙁 But other than that I'm well. Just tired. 😴

Re: Just checking in.
Hi @Former-Member .... 🤗💕
Stress leaves you fatigued, as does depression ..... it saps your energy, seemingly at a cellular level ..... so bearing that in mind, factor in more rest for yourself, and nurture yourself with self-care activities ..... it really helps to counter the fatigue.
Hugs .... 🌷💕

My back is giving me considerable gyp again so hopefully I can escape the pain with sleeping. Sleep well tonight everyone
