@TAB. It really is an easy painless procedure and best of all you are asleep for it all.
But it is a procedure - of your bum - intestines - so people get nervous. But afterwards you wouldn't even know anybody had been near it. if you know what i mean.
What day is yours?

Re: Just checking in.
@tab@Former-Member. the anaesthetic is simple. drip in your hand and then you sleep and then you wake up.
It's worrying because it is something you haven't had before. But its all okay.
I'm off to bed now. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Re: Just checking in.
You're right @Former-Member, I've just got my plate full re health care - too many specialists, too many tests and mental health has been stealing the spotlight recently. @TAB, I didn't think they used a full anaesthetic for colonoscopies? Making it heaps safer than normal surgery?

Re: Just checking in.
Yeah sorry tab, that was a typo, it should just say "Cheer up" (stupid auto correct). As for the anesthetic, its very mild twilight thing. I don't like GA but more worried about the other going GS on while I'm asleep, how invasive 😞 Oh, best stop thinking about it, just do it. Wish you all the best though 🙂

Hearing different stories don't know don't care will take your word for it. Over it already never doing it again @utopia

Re: Just checking in.
Everyone in my family has one every 2 years as a day procedure and I haven't heard of a single problem yet. Apparently the worst bit is the taste of the picoprep.
