Hand sewing, Quilting, watching DVDs, and......it's not my fault that my sons have times of mental ill health.

I need to have some time off Sane forums......

I'm in surprise and I need to focus on new things these days.my son, my youngest son was having a falling apart time yesterday and husband andI turned up and we needed to be very present.we ended up calling up pet team....here in Western Australia called Merhl Team and they spoke to him for a while.

I think that he should be in hospital. It's surprised me to the core....

We raced to his home and he's gotten his friend to sit with him.....he's threatening to call the police if my husband comes anywhere near him, I'm yelling that he needed to sit down......then my husband called Merhl. When he got off the phone from talking to a nurse, my son fully apologised to us and is promising to go back to Head Space.

Theres something else.....I'lle write about it soonish.........

My dog is staring at me because I'm too tired to take him to the beach.....just realising that I was waiting for this for my son, I was waiting for him to fall apart.....he's just gone through too much with his medical issues...........

I went to speak about it all to my chuches priest's wife.

Quilting has been an absolute godsend as I've made so many lovely caring friends through it.It gives me something to focus on when designing one, & something to admire as my fabric stash continues to grow.

That is soo wonderful @Kal , Do you take a photo of the Quilting you have finished xx

Everyone should have a dog!, I know totally what you mean @Kal, and it is heartbreaking when they died after all the years together , but look at what they do in our lives , the joy, companionship, the love unways not having a pet

we also have a thread which is about pets as therapy if you like to join in xx

what has happened ??

I'm so thinking about you and staying present for your kidney diagnosis and for what your going through. How is your husband? I'm feelng the pressure of what we need to so to keep ourselves present and sane in extriodinary circumstances.

In that we are here, we support each other. But I'm feeling that I want to think about say: what is happening for you and your journey and then.......my issue all of a sudden appears, something that I should have seen was going to happen, do you know what I mean?

My son has been dressing more and more badly, his hygene has been getting worse and worse and he has''nt been seeing a Gp this year. But it was so overwhelming when I had to take him to hospital and deal with his medical stuff, it was like, I overlooked it. 'there is so much that I want to write, I need to stay in the present and be really calm when writing it.

I am grateful for my son's problems are nothing to do with me. That he looks at me and my husband as people who will help him. I am grateful for this.

I am very grateful that my son recognises that I amd my husband are compassionate.

My Mum has been spreading roumours about my son for several months now and she has been interfering in spending time with his friends and finding information on him that has been screwing him up. This is what she did to me when I was young. It was very hurtful and still is. I can recognise that my brothers don't speak to me because of her.

When we got to his home, he was and is very hypersensetive and touchy. My Mum went to his work and rolling her eyes at him and this has caused him to feel extremely paranoid.

I have many texts of him threatening to commit suicide on Thursday morning and not being able to cope.

He spoke to the Pet Team councellor and he said that he is working until Saturday night when we pick him up at 9pm tonight. I am sick with worry but I need to let it go and wait until we see him.

On Thursday night, he bought quite a bit of alcohol and he said to me that he was going to get stoned and drunk.

ohhh I know , when things start to get busy and other things like work, children, mothers start taking over and just on wednesday afternoon out of the blue -- hubby said " I am going to take myself to hospital"

I thought we were go ok i said , so hubby stay home drank 3 beers ,double meds and went to bed xx

I rang a dru.... and alcoho.... line and got some tips for when he comes here tonight.

Ask him questions like....

Do you feel any better or more vulnerable than Thursday?

Are you feeling like you are using dr... and drink to numb your feelings about something ?

Oh golly. I just want to be a Mum so the councellor said that I can give him the number to call if he feels bad.

@PeppiPatty, being a Mum is the inpotant thing instead of asking those questions to your son xx

and also if he did answer those questions , what do you do next ?/
