not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I have made mention of my deceased father on his birthday on FB out of love and respect - your sister may not have meant to intentionally hurt you, just a tad insensitive to your feelings maybe. But if you find her posts unsettling you can click on her profile 'unfollow' and then you will not have to see her fb posts on your newsfeed.

Its natural to feel sad and lost today - that is okay for now. Let yourself cry, let it all out releasing the pain to flow from you. Remembering that this is not only your loss - but in the end those who estrange for no good reason, out of jealousy and grudges - or out of weakness to appease the malice of another - will realise how much their loss was greater.

Hugs 💕🌹xx

@Zoe7

You are right - we don't have to be happy and positive all the time - it can be hard work and it's not meant to be hard work

There are days when we put our grief ahead of other things - and some how we get through - even if it is just waiting for time to pass

@BlueBay

I don't know how your sister works her Facebook - maybe she put it up to spite you - but more likely she put it up to tell everyone - including you - that today was her father's 80th

Sigh - very hard for you though

I have been thinking about you today - lot of hugs again - and knowing this is a really harsh issue for you and why not

But we know you are a beautiful woman and worth having as a friend - let alone as a daughter - we have the best part of you - your honesty

Let your sister have her day - and whatever it gives to you - or anyone - it's what she does

And I am sorry

Re: not feeling good

Thank you my friend @Owlunar

I was thinking that maybe my sister put it on facebook without even realising how today would affect me. It's okay, I really don't think she did it on purpose, well i hope not anyway.

I am now upstairs with my daughter and younger son watching a movie, but i am so tired.

My daughter hasn't been well with a cold and now she can't take anything except paracetamol and lots of honey, lemon and oranges and kiwi fruit (vit c) and lots of rest. She didn't go to work today and has tomorrow Sunday and Monday off. Actually she is having her scan on Monday and asked me to come with her and her boyfriend. I can't wait, I am so excited to see the little baby and then i think my D will realise this is all so real!!! I think she is in a bit of shock still.

Anyway I better go, i hope you are okay, sorry i haven't read anyone else's posts today/tonight. but i will over the weekend.

thank you for the love, support and hugs. yes, your're right this place is the only place where i can be so honest and open. not even my closest friends know everything. thank you for letting me be me. xxxooo

Re: not feeling good

Enjoy the movie with your son and daughter @BlueBay. If you fall asleep before the end - that's okay too.
Your body will be as exhausted as your mind tonight. Take it easy.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

It must be hard for you but it seems you had things under control by the evening - one thing you know about your mood swings - they go up and down without warning and this at least has a degree of contancy even if you despair overwhelms you at times

It's great you are going to see the ultra-sound - to see that tiny bit of humanity with all the genetic potential growing inside your own daughter - oh there is something fantastic to tell you

Your own genes are growing again in another generation - I never thought of that when I was pregnant or when my dd was either - but now I do when I see my grand-daughter - and she has some of my features and some of my ways -

What a wonderful start to your new life this is

I'm sorry your D has a bad cold - changable weather can do this - and if she needs to have stronger medication - eg AB for the cold - then the doctor will be the best person to see

And the ultra sound - I have had these myself for different reasons but they weren't around in my time - how exicting this is!!!!! Wow - I told you I was going to enjoy this pregnany along with the rest of you

Hi @Owlunar @Zoe7@utopia@Former-Member

I'm okay today 🙂

It's another day, yesterday has come and gone. It was interesting - i looked again last night at facebook and saw that not one of my children 'liked' the post that my sister put up about my dad's birthday. Only her kids liked it. That's says a lot doesn't it??

Cleaned the house today, went out for coffee with hubby this morning. My daughter and I went to look at baby stuff. We looked at prices for prams, cots, cradles, car seats, change tables - OMG she is in for a shock. She's looking around and then says to me 'mum you are going to have to have tyime off work because i won't know anything'. I said to her 'don't worry it will come naturally to you, it's mothers instinct to know what to do' but i will definitely be with her as much as I can. I am sure she will grow up very fast once this little one comes along.

Home now, folded all clothes off the line. Might now go and watch a movie on netflix that my daughter is going to pick. Hopefully it's a 'girlie movie'.

Oh by the way, last night was really terrible for me so after I had calmed myself down I thought 'i'm going to have a salt water bath'. So I did and i slept all night. I'm sure the bath helped.

@Zoe7 how are you my friend? any plans for today or tomorrow?

@Owlunar I would love to 'chat' with you about your session and our mums

@utopia soiunds like you had a busy morning at the market?

better go and watch this movie, have no idea what it is. I'll let you all know later.

Oh and thank you so much to you all for the help, chats, suipport, love for yesterday. It was a really hard day. A day i thought I would not get through, but with the hlep of everyone here inlcuding @Former-Member @NikNik @Former-Member and @Former-Member I got through it. Doesn't make me happier but at least i got through it.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. Did you get a shock at the prices of baby things? Very expensive now.
I bought a bassinet when I was pregnant - 15 years ago. My boy slept in that for the first 6 months - in our room. My mum bought me a cot I liked. Basic and comfy - nothing fancy. That cot then went on to sleep 2 other friends bubs - before it was passed on to a charity shop.
I didn't get a change table. I had an old set of drawers painted fresh & just laid a padded change mat on top. Although half of the time Ichanged him on the floor or the bed.
The only thing I shouldn't have bought - was the baby bath. I should have borrowed one. I only used it for the first 3 weeks. Then it was washing him in the kitchen sink or laundry tub. The laundry tub was his favorite. Lol. I was determined I was going to use cloth nappies and be a 'green' mum. My sister bought me a three month nappy cleaning service. That was a fantastic gift. But in the end - we had to put him in disposables - due to his allergies - he had the worst eczema.
And by then I didn't care about being a 'green' mummy anymore.
Enjoy your movie. I hope it's a girly flick.
You did well yesterday. You got through it. Even though it was an extremely hard day. I'm glad you had the salt bath. A bit of a reward and relax.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Shaz51 thank you xxoo

how are you @Shaz51 and your husband?

@utopia we looked around and gee things are so expensive to when I bought them (25 yrs ago!!!)

We talked about it after we came home and she'll buy the bare essentiuals. we don't think she'll buy a change table now as we have a chest of drawers that she can put a change table mat on top. And a baby bath - maybe not either. I told her for now she just needs to buy the essentials - pram, cradle, and car seat/baby capsule. Everything has changed.

She said that her boyfriend's dad will most likely ask what they need so she will say a pram or maybe money so she can buy the pram she likes. we saw one today and it was about $500 but then converts to a stroller so that is probably a reasonable price. but there were some that werre over $1,000 (that's too much for a pram). My boys will most likely get her something as well, and we will buy something too so she will have all the essentials covered. The shop also has lay by so we can even do that.

We didn't watch a movie, instead she was watching a documentary about a girl in america who was kidnapped and found 18 yrs later. I lay down and fell asleep!! LOL and i am still tired.

hubby has gone to get some pizza for tea. Your plants that you bought @utopia sound really nice and unusual, but i am not good with plant names.

hubby and i went to bunnings today and came out with a $50 patio table with 2 chairs. We put that upstairs outside. thought that was cheap. only went in there to buy a laundry basket!!! Oh well. 🙂
