Hi @BlueBay
It's a horrible day - and Melbourne seems to be getting the whole rainfull for Australia today. And it is so dark and right now I am getting hail. brrrrr
I slept late, got up even later - I am okay but I have so much heat running here atm - I refused to worry about that - getting cold is something I don't just hate - it can make my back pain worse so alas - more of the same is forecast - not good
During the darkest time in my life my parents rejected my son and me and I certainly remember feeling confused and alone in the world with this unhappy child who managed to get into so much trouble -
Hi again @BlueBay
I wrote the above yesterday but had to stop because of a severe thunderstorm and I didn't get back to it - getting up so late made the day go fast and time got away from me - wonderful that
I read about feeling abandoned when I was going through the info here on BDP - I am sure my son experienced that and although my family was rude to me and treated me in ways that confused me I didn't feel the need for their permission on how to raise my children - I am beginning to understand that when people have BDP it is a completely different experience than anything else I have experienced. I was very vulnerable at the time but my children needed me and I did what I could when I could - sometimes I would burn out and go to hospital for a few days to refuel - the way my parents behaved during that time was reprehensible - this is as near as I can come to understanding how you feel -
My father admitted his part in what he called a Terrible Injustice just before he died - my mother couldn't get that far though she said enough for me to know she had regret and a lot of it - I was vindicated but to this day I can't understand what prompted them to behave in that way. I can understand your confusion - I am trying to say I am beginning to learn - not just my son and you but other people with BDP -
It must have been hard for my son - harder - and I had to leave him in Juvenile Detention because he had broken the law in a serious way and it was out of my hands and this must have been terrible for him -
Thanks for asking about my son-in-law - he is going into hospital tomorrow and I will be ringing my daughter later this morning to check on things - he was told not to do very much this week so I guess he wasn't working -
Your writing is fine - there is no need to worry about that - and giving support via the button is fine - I don't always feel like writing much either - it depends on a lot of things
And you have enough on your plate right now recovering from your session with your therapist yesterday - that was a huge step - don't look for other things to bother about when you are so totalled - we understand here and one way we do is the way your write -
I think you are working today - I hope it goes well for you

I know it's Thursday but this pic always works
