not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Hi @BlueBay

I hope you can get rid of your anger - it's so destructive and stands in the way of enjoying things - all the best with your psychologist - I really hope the sessions is helpful for you

Hi @Former-Member @CheerBear - it's a beautiful day in Melbourne - we have had a pretty brilliant autumn here - even though some days have been wintry

Have the best possible Tuesday

@Former-Member

Hi - I hope you get to see your therapist before going away too but your husband's appointment is super-important

Choices and decisions - meant to keep us from ever feeling comfortable when something important is about to happen - and you do have a lot happening

Re: not feeling good

Thanks @Owlunar , and yes .. I totally agree that hubbys hospitalisation and proper care is most definitely the priority here. And it will be.

Its annoying though that we have been waiting for the hospital now for just on 4 weeks. And despite putting all my own needs aside, it just happens to coincide with the only 2 apts Ive had for me in the last 2 weeks. The only other apt I had was my psych 2 weeks ago. Everything else has been on hold.

I have cancelled my Gp apt for Thursday and emailed my psych about rescheduling my apt for tomorrow to some time next week.

If the hospital does not call, I will be very upset and annoyed. As well as being out of pocket for accomm I needed to book in the city.

Sherry 😞💕

Re: not feeling good

This is stressful for you @Former-Member - all of it - and although your husband's hospital addmission is of major importance your needs are important too

4 weeks of waiting for the hospital - talk about dragging out the suspense - this is hard yards

And yes - we all know that if you do try and keep one of your appointments you will probably get the call then -

I will be thinking of you

Re: not feeling good

Hi all,

I am just popping by, apologies for interupting. There is some great support happening here as always.

Some of you may have seen a community discussion that happened a while back here looking at longer threads and the most suited area of the forum for them. The SANE Community came to the conclusion that when threads evolve into something beyond the original reason for the post, its fair to review where they ‘live’and in this case this thread is most suited to the ‘Our Stories’ area.

While this thread started off suited to this area, it is now a bit more suited for the area of 'Our Stories' as it’s an ongoing discussion about life experiences.. This will help new members navigating through forum threads as well 😀

We’d like to start this process with your input and decide together when moderators will move the conversation over to ‘Our stories’. Any one who has this bookmarked or clicks a link in an email that references its original location will be automatically redirected to the new location. There will still be a link here in case others don't realise it's in our stories, it will take them across. No chance of anyone therefore missing out on staying involved in this thread! You might have seen we have done this with a few other threads too.

Thanks @Former-Member for explaining to members of the move.

Hi everyone @Owlunar @Former-Member @CheerBear @Meowmy @Razzle @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope

i saw my psychologist through my local hospital. We talked about our joint session with hubby. I told her I felt like it was a personal attack on me. Thst what he said wasn’t all correct.

Talked about my session with my psych and what he said about this forum. I told her my anger towards him lasted a week and then I emailed him. She said it was so good of me to let him know how I’m feeling.

We agreed that I go automatically to negatives. And my huge huge fear of getting better fir losing my support and then feel rejected and abandoned. She said this is a normal thing to feel when you’ve gone through a trauma at a young age.

I did a lot of crying. Don’t kniw where it all came from.

Next session we are going to discuss this fear and why its so important to me.

She said it would be a good idea to write down a to do list for the days I’m home. But not too much on list otherwise if I don’t complete it I’ll be really angry eith mysekf.

Just funished taking A fir a walk to the park. Loved going down the slide eith her. It was so much fun.

Having a ciffee now eith D while A us watching wiggles.

Dinner is in slow cooker. Red curry chicken and veggies.

Hope everyone is having a nice day. ❤️❤️❤️

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay It sounds like your appointment with your psyc went well. Even though you cried a lot, all that emotion is out and not locked inside you, that in itself must feel better.

Your tea sounds lovely too. I’ve not long got home so have just cooked a basic steak and veggies tonight. Had a hair appointment today, thank goodness my hairdresser texts me a reminder the day before because I had completely forgotten about it. Feels nice getting my hair done.

Early start tomorrow, appointment with my councilor in his home town, 540km round trip. This session is earlier than normal, so I have to head off around 6.30, it’s going to be a long day.

Your last few messages have sounded very positive, you sound calmer and more relaxed, I hope I’m reading them right. Even the ones where you are angry, I feel like you sound like you are coping better, I hope so. Take car my friend ❤️❤️

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I'm glad you got to cry with your therapist - you don't feel you can cry at home when there are people there - and back in the day I did - I cried and yelled and really let people know how unhappy I was - so why is it the wrong thing - or you feel it's the wrong thing - to cry at home when there are people there? There's no need to say anything if you don't feel like it

You are really clear when you speak of your feelings to us - and I always read what you write though I may not always answer - it's isolating - and not just for you but for your family if you can't be honest with them about your feelings - they must know you see a therapist and a psyche - because you go to hospital every so often and it must nearly be time again.

Of course people have to listen - I think you and I are on the same page when it comes to husbands with no hearing loss who just don't hear - and after all the tumult and the shouting died after my ex-h and I seperated my ex wanted to know why I wanted to break everything up and I told him I had been saying it for years and why hadn't he heard

I guess I am hoping that one day your Huffnpuff will hear because the marriage is important to you and yet it seems a very lonely place to be.

If I am asking questions that are too personal let me know and I will stop but I am interested - watching Insight tonight opened a lot of ideas in my mind - the subject was Youth Suicide
