not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay and thanks so much for taking the time to explain a little about BPD to me. Its helpful to know that, and you have explained it so I can semi understand.

My day yesterday was so/so I guess. Today I have been busier, and was out doing my volunteer work at the nursing home where I visit an old lady who has nobody else.

Yes I suppose the fact he ate the triple choc fudge brownie I made is something! Shame the home made yummy quiche was turfed. But oh well. His appetite in general has been falling dramatically over the past couple of weeks. Likely to do with a recent reduction in the prednisone he has been on for encephalitis and other cancer treatment side effects. And his appetite is not helped by the side effect of nausea from his Parkinsons medication. Poor fellow. I can only keep giving him food he usually likes, and hope he eats it.

How was your work day yesterday? And how was today for you? I really hope that the back and stomach pains you were experiencing yesterday have eased and not returned.

I notice you've been having trouble with the support button. Mine is very very slow to react, but does work eventually. Not sure if thats similar to the problem you're having?

@Former-Member i feel for you, you have so much on your plate with your husband. that is so nice of you going to the nursing home to visit the lady who has nobody. you are such a special person to do that. and very caring too.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay,

Sorry to hear things are so challenging this morning. As you know, when things feel quite so panicked it is really important to reach out to some one on one crisis supports. I've listed some below, could you also perhaps reach out to your GP?It can be really difficult to sit in some pain but time can help it pass. What are some things that you could do to help distract you through this moment?

Lifeline: 13 11 14 or Crisis Chat

Suicide call back service: 1300 659 467 or online counselling

Samaritans: 135 247

If in immediate danger: 000

Re: not feeling good

Dear @BlueBay

You're going through a dreadful time right now with both physical and mental health issues.

Other than the panic attack at your GPs rooms, how did your appointment go besides that?

Is your blood pressure back to near normal? If I recall, its been fluctuating from very high to a little low. I hope they can adapt your BP medication to get it at an acceptable level. My natural BP is around 100/60, which is quite low. But they do not worry about it unless you become symptomatic. I only occasionally experience low BP symptoms such as dizziness and light headedness, so have never been overly concerned. But your BP is up and down, which is not good.

Can I ask what it was which caused this latest massive panic attack? No need to answer if talking about it is likely to cause further distress. Just thought it may help to discuss it, get it off your chest, and analyse why it happened.

Try to remain calm. Breathe ... in and out, feel each breath. This too will resolve.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Former-Member@Former-Member

I didn’t have an appt to see my doctor today. I went in to the receptionist her baby gift i made.

I was driving and all of a sudden these very very strong emotions came over me where I couldn’t stop it or control them. The nurse took me in her room to calm me down and she called my doctor to come in. He helped calm me down and I have to ring him st 1.30pm to let him know how I am.

All these negative thoughts rushed in my mind - parhetic stupid horrible hste sekf hatm, run away etc etc

@Former-Member I managed enough to drive home from clinic (5 mins to home) in between sobbing. Im niw sitting outside on my deck having a coffee.

Waiting fir my daughter to come so we can go fir a walk.

@Former-Member I really hate what I’m going through it comes from nowhere and it really takes over. My blood pressure is much better than 2 weeks ago. Bit more controlled with these new meds.

I think I’ll be ok for now. Later on I’m nit sure.

Thsnkyou both for your support. Xxx

Re: not feeling good

Thanks for letting us know @BlueBay. And by the way, that was a lovely thing to do by taking in the baby gift to your Drs receptionist. 🌸

Okay I'm glad to hear that they looked after you at the Drs and were able to calm you down enough to get back home. Enjoy your coffee on the deck. I am about to do the same thing here. Good on you for calling your daughter. A walk will help settle you and work off some of that nervous energy. Should also allow your mind to concentrate on things other than all the negatives you're currently thinking on.

Good to hear you feel you're safe for now. If things change later, I expect to be around, so tag me. And use those numbers @Former-Member gave you if worst comes to worst. Don't forget to call your GP at 1.30pm to update him on how things are. Do I need to remind you to be completely honest and up front with him? 😊

Sending you my kind thoughts and a big hug. 🌺🤗
