not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi BB I'm worried about you & your health. Have you had a 24BP monitor put on to check your blood pressure over 24hours? I'm not feeling the best either atm, so tired too. I am struggling with my sleep. I'm here thinking of you... @BlueBay

Re: not feeling good

Yeah @oceangirl I had a 24 hr monitor done about September. All good.

Its judt so strange. Yes I’m worried too. As my doctor said when they csnt find a reason why it’s more stressful. But worrying will only increase my blood pressure. Easier said than done.

I hope you can sleep better tonight. It’s tertible when you can’t sleep.

Re: not feeling good

I have had a headache and slept most of the day @BlueBay Being up so late last night took it out of me and I need to get back in the usual routine again now. It was worth it to see so many bring in the New Year together though.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay and also @Zoe7 @Appleblossom @outlander.

@oceangirl - good point about whether Bluebay has had a 24 hour BP monitor in the past. If you havent BB, then it could be appropriate to ask your GP to organise one. When my blood pressure was consistently high every time I saw my GP, he arranged for me to see a Physician and be fitted with a 24-hour Holter Monitor. It turns out that, far from having high blood pressure, I actually have very low BP. But I have what is called White Coat Syndrome, which means a sharp and sometimes vastly increased, increase when around Drs. Its called anxiety I guess! At least I know I dont have high BP in the normal course of the day. I do suffer side effects of low BP though.

Blood pressure changes throughout the day depending on the activity and the state of stress we are going through. The holter monitor is a fast, efficient and accurate measure of the daily variations in blood pressure. It also identifies other heart irregularities which may be present. So BB, if you have not previously had one of these tests, I agree with Oceangirl that it would be worthwhile asking your GP about the feasibility of having one done. @oceangirl, I am sorry to hear you are not feeling too well either. Hope you improve soon.

Thoughts are with you Bluebay.

Sherry

Re: not feeling good

Sorry I didn't mean to stress you BB @BlueBay. Have you been referred to a specialist- to investigate further. I hope they're able to better control your blood pressure. I too have blood pressure problem and I do have an underlying medical condition for this. I do understand about having high blood pressure, thats why I am worried and concerned for you. I'm so tired atm, not tired enough to sleep but don't have much energy to get out and about.

Re: not feeling good

Oops sorry @BlueBay. I see your response about the monitor. You obviously responded while I was slowly responding to Oceangirls post. I'm slow to type with my old mobile phone! I am a pretty good touch typer, but cant do that on a phone.

Anyway I'm glad youve had the holter monitor test and that the results were okay.

Really hope your GP and cardiologist can get to the bottom of whats going on with you.

Hi @Zoe7, no wonder you are tired after last nights great effort. You were a terrific host for the NYE party.

Sherry xx

@Zoe7 It’s amazing how one late night can affect us. I feel like a zombie with less sleep. Early night tonight. Hope you can sleep well tonight xxx

Re: not feeling good

No @oceangirl you don’t need yo worry about stressing me. I was already worried on Monday when I saw my Doctor.

I’ll let you know how I go.

Re: not feeling good

Thanks @Former-Member It was so worth it to see everyone coming together and actually having a little fun despite the year so many of us have had - just to feel that power of togetherness on the forum was a wonderful thing and everyone that came on - including yourself - really contributed to that feeling.

@BlueBay Yes it just takes that one night to not feel great the next day but as I just said the Sherry - it was worth it. My headache has nearly completely gone with the help of meds but still very tired - it will be an early night for me tonight. I have my psych appointment in the morning so I really need to get a good night sleep before that. When do you see your gp again?
